Now this i didn't know. I think i'll give that a go!If you add in your next contract that you must use youth you can get a convidence boost from your board, not that you need it I think
Some people seem to of got an even lower league database working, Not sure where they got it though.Spent my free time over the last couple of days reading this from start to finish. Kind of disappointed that I caught up because now I have to wait for updates
You've done fantastically well, and once I've cleared off my university essays I'll definitely be doing a level 9 youth save with a local team. Might do a story with it depending on how it goes.

Its the season to try since we have no europa league distractionsSeems to be going well. Next season just turn those vital draws into winning games and you'll be close to the top 3!

This season i am determined to crack the top 6 and automatically qualify for Europe. We don't have European football this season so less games should give us a fighting chance. Some more of the youth team coming through gives us greater squad depth to make a real go of it.
The friedlies went well all things concidered. Won all except Galatasaray and Malaga where we had a 50% youth team out.
10 games into the season and we are ****** storming it! Losing only to Arsenal.

After 20 games we are still going strong. I really can't put my finger on what is different. We are just playing so well. I keep exspecting a bad run and it never seems to appear.

**** Europa league! you are playing in the champions league!!!!!!
Along with our push up the premier league we also wanted to make a good go at the league cup.
2nd round we saw off a resiliant Peterborough
3rd round we hosted West Brom. We are bad hosts it seems
4th round against Plymouth Anthony Asante leading the way again!
Quarter final against Tottenham. There he is again that man Asante getting a brace in this 5 goal demolition.
Semi final against Arsenal. First leg was a hard fought victory, Most notable because Asante didn't score he didn't play but you know!
Well what can i say about this! Game of the year a 10 goal thriller, truly end to end stuff 4 goals from Asante. Arsenal missed 2 Penalties in this match.
So going for our second league cup. We found ourselves as overwhelming favourites with championship Leicester opposing us.
They can't all be amazing matches alas. 4 for Alex and a Brace for Asante, The partnership they have is lethal. A second league cup for the Green Lions.

Not of X-Factor fame. A ****** good looking striker, Mybe a new target man for us if Asante ever runs out of steam. Also has dual English/Irish nationalities
Matt Watkins
Can play in a good range of positions, I'm nt convinced yet. Youth team will find him out or not.
Luis Le Brun
Our first ever fully foreign youth. Already capped by France U21's a right footed left midfielder. The opposite works with Max Brazil so i'm prepared to give him his chance in a year or two.
Elliot Keith
Looks quality. Man Utd stole him so i hope he fails!
Dylan Clarke
I cannot use all these centre midfielders. Going to have to be world class to break into the team.

I was around 4-5 seasons in when i started the story. Currently only have the premier league running. Im using my girlfriends quad core monster gaming laptop at the minute. It will slow down when she wants it back.
The FA Cup we do love this competition. We were itching to set the record straight after our early exit last year.

4th round we barely scrapped past a more than game Middlesborough
5th round we crushed Peterborough. This was easier than it looks.
6th round Wolves gave us more than a few scares. We saw them off in the end.....just.

A far better showing than last season, Falling just short of the final.

Now, I need some help. I currently have a Southampton save and I am a starting my third season and am beginning to hit a financial situation. I signed some quality players while trying to sell some others, but then I couldn't sell them and I offer them continuously and need to sell them to cut wage bill because it too high and this series inspired me to start using my own youth intake as my up and coming players, but feel I should stabilize my finances before I start that. How can I sell my players for a price, because I surely don't want to release a player that I could possibly get a good price for!
