Girl Power! Arsenal appoint first female manager in the Premier League

I love the story, does being a woman actually affect the players in fm? If so i will start a save were i will be female. Amazing transfer getting gotze for 45 mill( i paid €120 mill in 2013). Keep the updates coming please!!

First game as Captain. First REAL game as Captain anyway... pre season was pretty poor. Why do I feel so nervous, I've captained Arsenal before.

****, Chelsea's defence look really good. Might need some luck here. Shame Gotze got a Hernia, he could have provided some good crosses...

Muniain and Gervinho on the wings behind me. Hmm, be interesting to see how this pans out.

Sometimes, one win is all it takes. Boys, we need to be very, very aggresive out there today. Chelsea will be a surprise package under their new manager, but so will we. Keep it tight, use the wings to your advantage. Koscielny, Vermaelen, be aware of the threat posed from set Pieces. Robin, I'm expecting some top quality shooting out there today, we need some goals in this game. For those of you making your debuts, good luck. For our more experienced Gunners, you know what to do. Get out there, get the result, and get the first 3 points of the season on the table.

Thanks mate. It affects press conferences, but nothing else as far I've seen so far.

Last minute transfer from Napoli. Female coach - this is interesting. Says she wants me to use my wisdom and teach Wojciech Szczesny to be a world class goalkeeper. This no problem for me. What is problem is my english - not very good yet. None of players speak Italian - except Mikel Arteta. He speaks very many languages - good for me as he seems very nice.

Today I play against legendary striker Fernando Torres. Chelsea look very strong but we must win first game. I am hoping for a win.

Not a bad game for your debut! Playing against one of the best teams in Europe. But their Captain John Terry makes jokes about my forehead. Let's see how many jokes he'll make about it when it hits the ball and makes it fly straight past him into the net.

Powell was unorthodox, but this was unheard of.

A triple substitution was made at half time, with Koscielny, Arteta and Gibbs coming off, and Djourou, Afellay and Walcott coming on.

The team were now playing a 4-4-2 diamond, but would it work?

Typical Woman. Can't believe she signs a keeper to take my place. Benched now. We're losing 2-1 and she's totally tactically inept, clueless she is. This De Sanctis guy is worse than me by far. But what would you expect from her. Leave football to the men, honey...Players looking clueless. Only Frimmy and Robin actually look like they want to play. This woman's gonna be out of a job faster than you can say "Get back in the kitchen"​

I've conceded two soft goals. Can't make it a third.

Frank Lampard is known for not missing 1 from 12 penalties. Let's hope a rare thing happens here...

Maybe the game sensed that I was writing a story, it certainly gave me a legendary first match! 3-2 win in the end, really good.
 
I like the story lin(arrow) but u really should play sczcesny more.

He'll get his fair share of cup games, don't worry. De Sanctis will probably be sold in a couple of years or so.

Now, should I post the next update today, or wait till tomorrow?
