Ok I'm gonna go away from this test - its unreliable unfortunately - a very good tactic of this forum did very poorly, but reality is it wouldn't if it had great players in the right postions - CF 20 works I'm sure of it - the magic I see on the field is amazing.

Anyway - I'm going back to Barca & Buxton

I can add we beat FC Porto 7-1

Also I started to use the regent goalkeeper in the spanish league as I was in doubt whether him or Ter Stegen should be preferred and he is very good - I have tutored him several times with Ter Stegen.

Then I can say away matches will always be more difficult and should not be compared the same - 4+ is fantastic away

BUXTON CONCLUSION - SKRILL NORTH - MEDIA PREDICTION 22 (LAST)...

Before I go on to tell you the final position with Buxton I will say that Barca have done yet another goal record and maybe a goal difference record as well, but we are not finished with the season yet so I will bring that in another post when the season is completely over.

Yes we did it - champions and promotion to the skrill premier - after that come league 2 - I have no idea what happens next - I will try to sell and get better players, I will ofcause go for another straight promotion in skrill premier - in all honesty I'm not enjoying life playing in such a low league - I rather wanna be Bournemouth - In the very first manager game I ever played called "The Double" I was Bournemouth and took them all the way to glory - but I couldn't save the game so had to have my defect commodore 64 turned on constantly - it was **** :)

Anyway - don't be surprised if I show a Barca team that have scored above 240 goals :)

That is an incredible achievement with Buxton, Jes.. 1st place and Champs must be a great feeling for you.

Gosport made the TV in FA Cup 2nd round replay against Forest Green (NPL2) Not only that we managed to win the game and set up a 3rd match against Cardiff away. So some good cup revenue coming to the club which is much needed.

You have flair for these money tournaments - that's amazing mate - where does Cardiff play championship or premier?

To be honest - I felt like I should have won each and every match, but it doesn't work like that - I clearly had several good players compared to the oppositions and I should have destroyed the teams easier - Quickness I find important in the strikers and then someone simular to Kara (Pappoe) - So I'm not feeling overjoyed yet - If I can do straight Promotion every year then I will be happy with myself, but that's highly unlikely :)
 
Cardiff are in Championship and they did beat me 3-0, wasn't a disaster and I got a fair amount of money from it. So any financial secure but still not a lot of money at club for me to spend. Am hovering just below play offs at moment with about 15 games to play.. So fingers crossed I can finish season like last one and play off should be a certainty. Also still not getting good players here, most still turn me down, however for league I do have a lot of 19-21 year olds who are performing better than perhaps they should with the attributes they have.

Getting promotion each season will be hard, Skrill Premier might be harder to do 1st season. But, Jes go and prove me wrong :-)
 
Should have added above.. I changed CF on ST to 10 (All 3), CM to 20 and WB to 0, still have width on 5. Thought about using defending positioning but have stayed with attacking movement all season. Mixed results but nothing out of the ordinary for the squad I have.
 
Barca conclusion - Brokeback Mountain CF 20 - Best Player Tactic

Best season I've ever had in any save - both in terms of records but also in terms of beautiful play. It started off with me giving the players an extra long vacation so instead of coming back 7 weeks before I told them to come back 4 weeks before - I don't know if it has any effect - I can't prove that, but we lost the Euro Supercup vs Man united 5-1 which made me change up CF as you know it - Straight after that we played RMA and lost 1-0 (Disaster already) and that's where I got tired of it all and changed CF=20.

After that as you probably know I blasted through the season and saw some of the most gorgeus play I have ever seen - no offense to other tactics - this has just been so amazing.

I managed to beat the 18-0 record I earlier achieved and was actually leading this match 15-0 at half time - JEEEZ!!!!

My players are beasts and some maybe a little overpowered - so that has to be taken into consideration as well - Quickness and Technique when that is high together its a huge advantage - nevertheless its a fantastic achievement - I hope the coming seasons will be better though - I'm asking the players to be back 7 weeks before again.

I'm currently selling out of my players - I don't know if its a bad idea or a good idea - my wage budget has been improved by 2000 pounds a week - I am allowed to have 5 scouts 4 coaches 1 fitness coach 1 director 1 head of youth 1 physio - Unbold I'm not using. I can't sell all players and some I feel I don't get enough for - so they keep being in the team. I have calculated I need 16 players - I'm still waiting for my 5 scouts which are scouts that is alot better compared to last season - so hope their will be more players to choose from.

I only sign coaches and scouts etc on a 1 year contract - I try and restart everything every season.

Jes, that is just amazing season with Barca.. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that any one could score that many goals in a season. Also big big 19-0 win is just fantastic.. Not sure I have the right or even enough words for what you have achieved. Outstanding my friend.
 
End of 3rd season with Gosport and I missed play offs again, but finished 6th when was predicted to finished 22nd again. Not sure if I will try another season as it is a frustrating save for me. Said that before and then had great success with another save so who knows. Might just take a break from this lower league save. Screenshot of league.

Thanks mate - that record (well if it is a record) is definitely something else - it looks crazy to me too - even though their were 2 matches that went wrong which is a pitty - but CF20 didn't start before those results occured.

I can understand your frustrations with gosport - maybe they are just too small a club to achieve anything at this stage. I kept 7 of my players and thank god for that because those I can get does certainly not improve the squad alot - I managed to get alot better coaches in general 3 star coaches for allmost all categories - I have a 6300 wage budget and I'm only currently using half - I only need a few more players but don't have any money to spend so its a fun situation.

If I do well this season then its a sensation with the player material I have - I think my team is worse than last season, but with a better coaching staff - I really need a money match like you got against Southampton - that could change things around for sure.

So what will you do now mate?

If you continue - can I suggest to go with 4141 rock classic - its the best underdog tactic their is and I think you would win the league using that one to be honest - just a suggestion :)
 
I'm not sure, might leave it for tonight and decide tomorrow. Not 1st time I have said that and gone back to save. Regards using another tactic, might well be right on that, but this tactic does work attack wise, defence is where it is not so good. Also my players are not good even for this league, they have overachieved for me, and perhaps I should actually be happy at the way things have turned out considering we are media wise worst team in league for last 3 seasons!

In all honesty - I know I promoted, but the teams - all of them are *****!!:) my own team included - but in all honesty its a top team tactic - I think I would have trashed the league using 4141 rock classic - its fun to look at when they have a good day - I might go for rock classic next season, but it depends on how this season goes and what sort of players i can get next season - for instance if i win the fa cup i might buy Maupay just kiddin :)

Well...I have to confess...It was me Jes,I did make a bid for the team lol

Well,since my experience with a multi-role frankenstein tactic with the CF=20 was a little dissapointed,I change again to brokeback mountain, but now with awesome team gel. The start of the season is very nice...won spanish super cup both games to Barcelona and smashed Chelsea 7-0 at the uefa supercup.I will post some screenshots and show you Jheferson Vergara and Shadrach evolution.
