My dad brought me up a liverpool fan and ive never supported another team

What? You pretty much said (not to me directly ofc.) that since me not being from Liverpool or not being able to travel to watch their games I´m not a real football fan..
 
My grandad used to live near White Heat Lane and was a season ticket holder and a lifelong fan. That, coupled with the fact I always like the underdog meant that when I got into football (about 3 years ago), meant they were the obvious team for me
 
well Birmingham City cos im glory hunter. Started yesterday
Shelbourne cos their my local club and have followed them during the highs (04/05) and the lows (end of 06 season and end of 08 season).

Seriously for Birmingham I started supporting them around the time Fahey joined in Jan 07/08 first of all as just looking out for results but they grew on me for some reason and I then started supporting them. My dad and brother are United supporters and attempted to get me following them but i never really liked them. When i am older I will get a season ticket and go to as many games as i can
 
man utd: born in united part of manchester not the city part and see them sometimes
northampton town: i live in northampton at the moment and go to see them guite a bit
blackpool: i go there every year as i have family there
 
Born less than a mile from St James' Park, and lived in Newcastle ever since.

Correct.. What does this have to do with the fact you're Swedish?
 
I support Villa because my parents bought me their kit when i was 5 and liked it. Ever since 2004 I actually started supporting them properly and i've loved watching them play and how they're becoming stronger. I grew up and live 10minutes away from there aswell

The reason I support napoli is that they've been struggling within the past years and now they've turned out to be a title contendor in the Serie A with hardly anything expected from them. I'd love to seem them victorious within the next few years!
 
Born and raised in Liverpool, family supports Liverpool, Great, great Grandad was a co-founder of the club. If I didn't support Liverpool I'd probably be disowned.

I support Randers FC (Denmark) because i was born there and lived there about a year or 2 in my childhood. In the start I supported Brøndby IF, but then 5 clubs in Randers merged to form a proffesionel club, using the license from the 1. division club Randers Freja to make a strong club in Randers and around it.

A month after i was born, my parrents moved to Hamburg, so I also support HSV and I support it even more, when Frank Arnesen moved to the club.

Chelsea: Because I saw a match at Stamford Bridge and Frank Arnesen joined the club. I don't want to be a United supporter, like the majority is here in Denmark.

I own 3 Randers FC shirts, 2 Chelsea shirts and 1 HSV shirt. :)
 
It's an interesting topic. A few of my friends tell me that I'm a glory hunter, but I really don't see how I am, so it would be interested to hear your views on it:

I started supporting Liverpool when I was about 4 years old, when I idolised Michael Owen. He was my favourite player, and therefore I wanted Liverpool to do well, and from there, my love for the club grew. When he left, I was heartbroken, and must admit, considered changing to Real Madrid, but that would have meant today I would be a United fan, God forbid :@!

Anyway, I have no family links in Liverpool, and none of my family support Liverpool, which is why my friends think I'm a glory supporter, but I don't see how a club would expand its fanbase this way?

Anyway, it will be interesting to see what you think!
 
i support newcastle because i live in newcastle and couldnt never ssee myself supporting anyone apart from newcastle simple as

im a magpie until i die

I support a yo-yo team 700 kms away from where I live, does that make me a glory hunter? We've never won anything except for lower divisions, I don't see how that's "glory hunting", or "being a fan of winning". But then again, I don't need your approval to support a team, and I enjoy every single of those beautiful 90 minutes when my boys in yellow and black kick the ball around - and from time to time, even into the goal.
 
County because I'm from Stockport, Born in Stockport, Live in Stockport, Support Stockport, plus all the Dad's side of the family are passionate County fans, had a season ticket since I was about 5, and I got my mate supporting them but he doesn't go too many away games, so I've recently made mates who are County fans and have only missed 4 league away games this season. SCFC :wub:

And I'm a bit of a Leeds fan because my Dad used to watch them on Saturdays as County played on Friday nights, so my Dad took me too a few Leeds games, and I loved it, players like Viduka, Smith, Kelly, Harte, Dacourt and Kewell were my favourite Leeds players, so yeah.

whats is so wrong with him supporting Liverpool? Its not a rule to support your local team you can support anyone you want :S
 
live around 200 metres from the ground and so has most of my family all the way through to my cousins so naturally was brought up surrounding r's supporters and loving the team!
