Well done on the MLS Cup. That's an awful draft scout the players yourself to avoid that happening in future.

I did scout some,but we were last i the draft and they all went before I got my turn. Honestly though the free transfers i've got are all better than een he best draft player.

When our defence performed we were untouchable this season, only 3 losses was great but 8 draws IMO is to many.

The money actually seems to be in Qatar and Saudi Arabia, in my game at least. Maybe national service might be a challenge? I'm waiting on half the leagues loading, some start 6 months after others for some reason...

Guizhou Zhicheng F.C. (Simplified Chinese: 贵州智诚足球俱乐部) is a football club based in Guiyang, China. They play in the 18,000 seater Guizhou Provincial Stadium and currently compete in the China League One.

The club was founded on September 16, 2005 after it took over from the Guizhou Province football team and pay the membership fee to the Chinese Football Association to allow them to play within the youth leagues.[1]​ At the beginning of the 2008 league season the club would enter the senior football league pyraimd by playing in the third tier where they came fourth within the Southern league and entered the play-off where they were knocked out in the first round of the play-offs.[2]​ They would achieve the same feat the following season but this time go one better by being knocked second round of the play-offs.

We have 90% of the wage budget available, and the club seems to be very well run being 600k in the black. I'm only allowed 3 foreign players in my first 11 and 4 overall at the club. Players from Hong Kong, Macau and Taipei do no not count as foreign so I shall look to exploit that. My budget barely changed regardless of what expectations I picked so avoid relegation it was. We are 25-1 to win the league, worth a sneaky tenner!

Also for new rules you wanted. why not try a youth team rule. 90% of your players to come through your youth squad or something.

Not very far if i'm honest, like you say middle east is the big one. Qatar providing all the acl winning teams at the minute. As for youth team i've been there and done that with Guernsey! I haven't actually been anywhere long enough to produce any youth.

One of those 3 nations is where i'm aiming to end up if I can't do it with a chinese team, It would be nice to get an oil rich tycoon club!

Youth should happen more often once I get to south america i hope.

I'm doing a weirder, easier version of this on my one. I'm doing a hexagon Global Free Agent Challenge, currently in South Korea, won our first game 2-0 with no goalkeepers. (Literally the player in goal was a defender, we were drawing 0-0 and the assistant was saying tell them they're **** and they'll never amount to anything and I was like hang on a second we're not losing and we've got no goalkeepers so I told them all that they were brilliant brilliant people and they all won. (I was either saying that or all of their mothers are bamboo plants, I don't speak Korean.)
