FYI when you quoted me I actually meant try your luck with the Greek side not Benfica or Lisbon.

Promotion was entirey out of the question this season, Mathmatically impossible I believe. We still played well even if I lost my first competitive match in charge. From there we drew 2 and won 8 vindicating my decision not to jump the gun and sign an entire new squad, I saw no need as we were clearly good enough for the time being.

This means we have finished a very respectable 8th, Next season i'm confident we can get promoted with a few good additions, It greatly depends what's out there for me!

Yeah it is kinda incoherent, what I meant whilst typing was I think... Lisbon Chairman. After that, eh, try your luck, was meant to refer to try your luck in the CL with that team I know the way I typed it, it was like a massive plot hole. (I don't know why I'm explaining something so inane for but what the hey?)

I originally had no intention of signing any players as I felt the squad was good enough to push for promotion, However a couple of big offers saw me selling some players and I also found a couple of good youth payers. The russian league insists one Russian player under 21yo starts, I'd be foolish not to prepare for that.

40-1 seems harsh, With a worse team I only lost one game last season. The same form again would see us walk this league.

Irrelivant of the 3 bad results we sit pretty at the top 6 points ahead Balitika and a game in hand, Phillipov's form has been amazing and he is probably the reason we are here. He was sat in the ****** reserves when I arrived!

We didn't require any improvement upfront yet but I was offered a player I couldn't turn down.

We have finished the domestic season in blistering form, Drawing 1 and winning 16 of our games!

In the end we didn't just win the league we dominated it! 38 points ahead of second and set a new points record enroute.

In the 4th round we barely scraped by, needing extra time but we did it.

So tiny Sibir are in the final against the giant Zenit st. Petersburg. Alas this was a step to far for us, we played very well but Zenit played better but we can be proud to of made it this far.

Pre season started with a job offer from possibley the biggest Russian team around. It was knocked back as i'm gunning for there status!

Just two players in, as I feel we have most positions covered very well. Even though we were solid at the back last season I feel top flight teams will maul us if they find us out so two defenders it is.

We found ourselves having to qualify for the Europa League, Kayserispor would fall against us after our 2-0 home win was not overturned by a 2-2 draw in Turkey.

Metalist of Ukraine felt the same pain as Kayserispor did when we beat them on aggregate with a 3-1 win at home and a 1-1 draw away to send us into the group stage proper.

When I was in Asia i applied for the Australia job 3 times, each and everytime I was laughed off!
 
Quite honestly I couldn't of asked for a better start to the season than this, i honestly expected all our goal prowess from last season to count for nothing this season, But we keep banging them in and the result is 3 draws, 2 losses and 10 wins! We are competing with the best Russia has to offer.

Sturm Graz actually put up one **** of a fight, 2-1 it was and 3 points for us.

Werder Bremen was the team I was most worried about, i needn't of worried as we absolutley dismantled them 3-0!
