Holy... I really, really wish Neal Webb existed right now for us, because look at him, look at him, he makes Lionel Messi look like the Attacking Midfielder version of friggin' Massimo Taibi, he's a friggin' beast an' a half, he could win a 1000 European Championships, Confederations Cups and World Cups on his own. And to think he was transfer listed? How much Cocaine were Southampton snorting? He makes Neymar & Cristiano Ronaldo look like Isthmian League Players.
 
15 games in and 15 wins! The team is nor more than a match for any team in Portugal.

These are our 2 best results IMO, a 9-1 win over Belenenses and a 3-0 defeat of Porto.

We naturally sit first, the best bit is the 11 points gap! If we can even play half as good as this for the second half of the season, the league will be a given.

The HOYD signed two more players since i last updated players aswell. One was signed at the beginning of the season one in january.

It's rather scary to think isn't it? He is our best player by quite a way, at least statistically. Our facilities are nothing like as good as Southamptons though, so I expect a slight decline for him.

Braga gave us our best game of the contest so far, It took Muraccini to break the dead lock in what is now a rare start for him.

Portimonense were soundly beaten, i'm a little annoyed we conceeded 1 however as our display didn't deserve that.

in the semi final we dispatched Porto 2-1 and 1-0 to seal our passage into the final again.

In the final we gave Sporting a good hiding, 6-2 it finished. It was 5-0 at half time and we never looked back. Even when they pulled 2 back they never looked like troubling us.

After last seasons heroics in the Europa League, I expect us to make at least the quarter finals.

We beat Celtic 4-0 at Celtic Park then 1-0 in Portugal to give us 6 points from the Scots. They are a good side let me tell you! 6 points off them is brilliant.

We beat Inter Milan 2-1 in italy then 3-0 in Portugal, But we knew we could beat them as we have done before, Maximum points off the Italians was very welcome.

A pair of 2-1 losses to Man City, Losing in the 90th Minute in Manchester and throwing it all away in the second half in Portugal. They were the unknown quantity to us and so it proved.

We still topped the group, but most surprising of all was Man City dropping into the Europa League. I expect they will win that contest now.

We returned to Manchester for the last 16. After losing 1-0 at Old Trafford, we found the form we needed in Portugal to turn the tie around and book our quarter final spot after a 4-1 win.

We stayed in portugal for the quarter final, Porto a team we have had the better of all season knocked us out after a 1-1 in Porto then beating us at home 1-0......

Just the league remains now, but i'm happy with our champions league showing, Hopefully we can improve next season. I'm not really sure where I can improve my squad though.....​

All in all a very successful season, the domestic treble was completed. We got to the quarter final of the champions league. I'm slightly frustrated that the board wont build a new stadium ours is simply not big enough, player sales and champions league is what is keeping the club funded right now.​

I need to win the champions league first, i decided a while ago i'd finish up the hexagon in Portugal, so this will be my last stop. I have another project planned on the same save for after i've finsihed, but i'm not revealing anything yet ;)
 
The only minor thing I can think of is to tweak the defence a bit so that you don't concede goals because you can score goals a plenty.

A full Portuguese international and now our highest paid player, But boy is he worth it! He will slot nicely into our AMC position and I expect great things. Joginho was sold and used to manage over 20 goals a season from there, big boots to fill.

I decided that the weakest area of our squad was our full backs, I found this young man to make the left hand side his own, He can also play pretty much anywhere up the left. Only ever played 1 full game for Celtic, what a waste.

After alot of haggling I finally got my man without breaking the £10m rule! Aberdeen originally wanted £11m for him, i knocked them down with the promise of 50% of any future transfer fee should he move on. He will take the right back position and make it his own. We now have Scottish players on either side of defence.

The champions league has to be my aim for the season this year, Anything else is a bonus. Speaking of champions league, here is the group we have landed in. I'm only actually worried about Madrid, the group is ok despite what it appears to be on the surface.
