First time since 1996, the format of Quarter finals is introduced which is an excellent news as Super 8s was way too boring. Now after group stage every game is a Do or Die.

As the tournament is hosted in Sub Continent, my favorites are Inida, SL, SA.

Great OP, but C'MON INDIA!!

No.1 in odi rankings and test, we must be favorites, Dhoni 2 dominate!

C'mon you boys in green.. Fancy our chances of making the quarters..

Would love to see england win it, but after the ODI series downunder, its unlikely. Would like to see Sri Lanka do well, esp seeing as Murralitharan (sp) has just signed for the mighty gloucestershire!

If England win this, i will actually be amazed. We have no Morgs, a load of half fit bowler, and tell me why the **** Ali Cook isnt given a ******* chance in ODIs.

Even i would be. They don't have good record in sub continent and it would take some majestic performance from KP to win it imo.

Kp, Strauss, Swann and Broad would have to play out of there skins for us to come close.

Injured Sohail Tanvir droped from Pakistan squad...Pacer Junaid khan to replace him.

I dont think Strauss can play inspired innings, in ODIs that too on Sub continent pitches. On the other hand KP, Swann and Broad can.

KP's pepsi ad. We do love foreign players and always make good ads whenever they tour India.

Great OP

Group B is soo much harder than A :p Gona put some bets on it to make it more interesting :)

I think all the top teams will qualify, Its the quarter finals where the fun starts. One bad match, you are out. Superb. Love this format.

India 2 win, but the suprise shock could be ireland 2 do well i think.

Not a huge fan of the 50 over game but I think this could be an interesting tournament.

India, Australia and South Africa are the most likely winners, but if England get off to a good start and build up some confidence then we have a dcenet chance but it's going to be a lot more difficult without Eoin Morgan.

---------- Post added at 09:55 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:55 PM ----------

India FTW. We will win. Tendulkar to dominate this :)
A nice balanced opinion from an Indian cricket fan

After the 6-1 defeat to the Aussies im not that confident but I wasnt that confident in the T20 World Cup so anything is possible

England will do *****.

We can't play ODI's to save our lives. Its one or the other with us, we can either be good at test cricket and ***** at the rest or vice versa.

We won't even make it out the group stage.

India is my bet, they got a great team and are playing at home and are brimming on a great ODI Record in the last 12 months, if they cant reacht he finals this time round, i dont know when they will be able to do it

btw England will just show their faces and come home i expect

Group B looks really tough, South Africa, England, India and the unpredictable Windies and Bangladesh, even Ireland have show they can kill the giants when they beat Pakistan in the 2007 WC

South africa!

We can do it, just gotta avoid them pesky indians :p
