Transfers
With only 9 players left I had a very busy transfercampaign during pre-season. But first I had to look at the wage budget that I have. This year we didn't received as much as last season, but it must be enough to build a competitive team.

I want at least 20 players, so I have to bring in 11 players or more. The remaining wage budget was 4K and with that in mind I started transfercampaign!

Because we have really bad finances, I looked for cheap players. We are now 1.7K under the wage budget, so I hope that that will make the finances better.

I'm very happy with my squad and I proudly present him:

Goalkeepers: The same 2 goalkeepres as last year: Volkan Tekin (new vice-captain) and Christoph Werner. Volkan will be first choice, but I promised Christoph some game time so he will get some matches too.

Fullbacks: I signed 2 new fullbacks: Marcel van Hees will play as left back and Mariusz Ragaman will play as right back.
Left back: Nice Heupt will be first choice and Marcel van Hees will be the backup left back this season.

Central midfielders: Here I signed 3 new playes. 1 deep lying playmaker and 2 ball winning midfielders.
Deep lying playmakers: Newbie Lucas Domgorgen will be first choice and Christian Stefani will sit on the bench.

Ball winning midfielders: Daniel Muller will also play as a BWM, but he will be second choice as Benjamin Bischoff will be in the starting 11.

Attacking midfielders: I signed here 2 new players, maybe 1 too much, but Daniel Keita-Ruel has a lot of injuries so he will need 2 backups. Dirk Vetter will not play that much, because he's 3th choice, but Bosnian Aleksander Mastilovic can compete with Keita-Ruel.

Wingers: I signed only 1 new winger because Gianluca Maresca is a good backup for both sides. Manfred Krotz will need some time to train AMR position, because he's naturally an MR.
Right wingers: Star of the team Joseph Olumide (new captain) will be first choise and Manfred will be his backup when he's fully trained.

Strikers: I needed 1 new striker and he is also Turkish. So 2 Turkish strikers will challenge eachother for a starting spot. Newcomer Engin Cicem has some experience in Turkye and played last season for TuRu Dusseldorf. He scored 11 goals.

League
This year we will play in the Hessenliga again, but there are some differences from last year.
We are with 20 teams instead of 19 and there are 3 new clubs in the league:
KSV Baunatal, TSG Worsdorf and FV Bad Vilbel.
KSV Baunatal: They won the Hessenliga in the year 2012-2013 and relegated last season from the Regionalliga. I predict that they will challenge us for the title.
TSG Worsdorf: I think it will be a hard away match against them because they are the only team with a synthetic field. I predict that they will be a midtable team.
FV Bad Vilbel: They may be happy if they survive, a very thin and bad squad...

Expectations
I think that we have a good chance to rewin our title this season and hopefully we will promote!
I think that 3 teams will challenge us for the title:
FC Eschborn
Bayern Alzenau
KSV Baunatal
Because we won the Hessenliga we may play in the 1st round of the DFB-Pokal. I hope we draw against a big team and that we will receive hight gate receipts.
July fixtures

I was too busy with transfers, so my assistant handled the friendlies. We did ok, we lost from a bad team (Bad Vilbel), but we won from a Regionalliga team (Afschaffenburg).
Now into te first league match against Wehen II. It was an away game against the second team of SV Wehen Wiesbaden, our rivals whome are just relegated to the Regionalliga.

A very good performance of my team secured our first 3 points of the season. Newcomer Ragaman played very well on the right back position and gave 1 assist. A wel deserved POM award for him!
Our first home game of the season was against the revelation of last season: Stadtallendorf

We won again with a concincing 3-0. 2 goals from new striker Engin Cicem, but with 1 goal and 1 assist is Joseph Olumide the man of the match.

Eschborn has also 6 points, but with a goal difference of 6 we are on the first spot! Hopefully we will be there at the end of the season...

In the DFB-Pokal we play against VfL Bochum, a team in the second Bundesliga. It's a match for the players to gain some experience.
From the 4 league matches I expect at least 9 points.
Player of the month
Everybody played good during the first 2 matches, but 1 player was just outstanding. He scored 2 goals, gave 1 assist, had an average rating of 8.25 and 1 POM award.
JOSEPH OLUMIDE was the best SV Wiesbaden player of July!
