Next season:
I think this is the best I could do at SV Wiesbaden and I don't think I can win the Regionalliga with this team. The board wanted that I signed a new contract, but they offer me a lower wage and a lower wage budget so I wouldn't have the money to sign good players to aim for promotion. So I've decided to look for another adventure and leave SV Wiesbaden. I really liked managing this team and I'm really proud of the 2 Oberliga titles, the promotion to the Regionalliga and the 2 very good seasons (7th and 4th) in the Regionalliga!
I leave SV Wiesbaden with some tears and wish them all the luck for the next season!

UNEMPLOYED
After a period of more than 3 months without a job, I (Jurgen Meyer) finally found a job.
Actually I found 2!
1. On the 8th of October 2017 I signed a contract to be the coach of Albania U21
Because I was unemployed and looked for a nex adventure I thought that it would be good to have some International experience. When Albania offered me the job to be their U21 manager I didn't hesitate!
2. On the 27th of November I signed another contract. I am a club manager again! But I have to learn a new language, 'cause it isn't a German team. It is a Belgian team names KFC Dessel Sport
They play in the second tier and are currently 14th in a competion with 18 teams.
I love the new challenges and I can't wait to start!

I expected a loss against Bulgaria, because previous match (12/06/2017) Bulgaria won.
The other 2 matches I expected to win, but I really underestimated Moldova. We score twice in the first 5 minute and dominated the whole game, but they scored twice on the counter-attack...

I must say that I don't like the club and country. With that reason I didn't request to renew my contract, but I believe that the club is looking for another manager, because my tactic is not that effective in this league and my dutch is not that good...

On the 24th and the 25th of May I received 3 job offers. Al 3 clubs are playing in the Regionalliga. One of them, SSVg Velbert 02, I would only consider if the other 2 interviews were unsuccessful because they finished 19th and last in the Regionalliga West.
The other 2 clubs are Goslarer SC and Wurzburger Kickers.
- Goslarer SC finished 14th in the Regionalliga Nord and there aim next season (2018-2019) is to be a stable midtable team.
- Wurzburger Kickers finished 11th in the Regionalliga Bayern and there aim next season is to finish in the top half of the league. (top-9)
My decision was very easy. Not only because it was the first club who approached me or that, after 4 years with SV Wiesbaden, I have had enough of the colour blue.
Wurzburger Kickers are the better team and they are very ambitious. Their predicted finish was 6th last season so their is a possibility to aim for promotion within 2-3 years.
So I decided to sign a contract until June 2020 at the Flyeralarm Arena in Wurzburg!
