just read nine pages of this and it looks awesome dude! What tactics do you use for your team after updating to the 10.3 patch? Also awesome peice of business getting 6mill for jon spector(1st season). I could only get 3 mill for him. But then again i'm **** at handling transfer deals:(

Yeah, I actually started this game a week before the patch came out so it isn't actually on thee 10.3 patch. I may upload my tactics but I am not sure yet. :) Mini update coming in about 15 minutes.

We heard earlier from West Ham manager Daniel Oakes that there would not be much transfer activity at Upton Park this window, lets hear what he had to say.

Daniel Oakes said:
I do not believe that we need to buy in this window. My players have played brilliantly so far so I will not be investing in January. We have a very high wage budget so I will be looking to maybe move a couple of players on but no players will be joining Upton Park.

Mamadou_Diarra~1.jpg

Mamdou Diarra is rumoured to be one of the men heading out of Upton Park after only recently joining the East End club in the Summer. Diarra has not impressed for the Hammers and has only warranted around five appearances for the Hammers and is on a large wage so Oakes may be looking to cut Mamadou off the wage list.

Three leave Upton Park

Mahamadou-Diarra3.jpg

At the end of a very quite transfer period at West Ham United Football Club, only three players have left the club. Mahmadou Diarra left the club for Paris Saint German in a deal worth around £3 million. Gabriel Milito and Alphonse Aréola were the other players to leave, completing loan deals to Valencia and Auxerre respectively.

Daniel Oakes is said to have landed the bargain of the year when fans heard that he had agreed to bring Hatem Ben Arfa to the club on a free transfer in the summer. It is believed that Hatem is one of the many talents in Europe and this could be a massive coup for West Ham.

Here is what manager Daniel Oakes had to say about his dealings.

Daniel Oakes said:
I am very happy with the deals we have managed to complete in this January. Mahmadou is a good player but to get rid of him for that price at a mature age was too good to refuse. He would not have featured in the first team anyway. Gabby and Alphonse have left to gain some first team football and loaning Gabby out cuts our wages big time which I am pleased about. They will return to the club at the end of the season. I am absolutely delighted to secure a deal that will bring a man of Hatem's abilities here on a free transfer in the summer.

Yeah thanks pal, Diarra was getting about forty grand a week, as was Milito and I needed to ship them out really cos they dont play. I think Ben Arfa will do well, hopefully!

Nice signing there, should be a great player especially on a freebie! Keep it up :)

Former West Ham striker Carlton Cole made Daniel Oakes eat his words after scoring the only goal in the hotly contested match between the two sides. Cole was delighted to show Daniel Oakes what he was missing.

I am absolutely delighted to score against my former club. This one is for you, Daniel Oakes, you got rid of me and this is what you are missing. I hope I cost you the league title this season.

I am delighted that we are keeping our form up this month. An obvious highlight is making light work of a great team like Liverpool on the way to a second appearance at Wembley in two seasons. I am also happy about advancing to the next round of the FA Cup, although we struggled against a resilient Blades side. Although we suffered two defeats in the league, I am very impressed with how the team bounced back from these defeats and won the majority of their games this month. Next month will be massive for the club with a Carling Cup Final to look forward to and also encounters with Manchester United, Arsenal and Atlético Madrid. Next month will make or break our season.

How would everyone like the Carling Cup final update, would you like it seperate to the february update or with it? Please tell me ! :)

Magnificent draw at the Emirates

Cesc Fabregas was the top performer today in what was a fantastic game at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal were perhaps the better side but goals from Alessandro Diamanti and Tomas Necid helped gritty West Ham secure a great point from the game. The Hammers could consider themselves lucky as Nicklas Bendtner missed a penalty for the Gunners but they earned a great draw.

This was yet another great month for this great football club. With victories over Manchester United and Fulham and a great draw at the Emirates, we have really showed that we have a chance of mounting a title challenge. We also came away with a narrow win against Atlético which I was happy with, we will need to be at our very best though to get anything at the Calderón. We have advanced to the quarter finals of the FA Cup and I truly believe that we can retain the trophy we brought famously to Upton Park last year. Next week, we have the Carling Cup final against Everton which will be massive for us and we will take all our support down to Wembley to support the lads.

Well done man, keep going hope you win in the final who have you got. Good layout so far but just make the goalscorers and score a bit clearer by maybe putting a little 'overview' so people can look straight through at all you're results. Good story so far man!

This is great, I love the layout - it's well worth the effort! Good luck, and I hope the monthly installments don't come back to haunt you :)

Can we see a screen shot of soldado's stats please?

Soldado is on fire for you. Never seen him score so many goals.. how many goals has he got this season?

He doesn't seem to get injured too much either, which is clearly good for your team as you seem to rely on him a lot for goals.

Just as you say that DMF, he picks up an injury :S, cheers :)
