West Ham complete signing of Scottish veteran

Barry_Ferguson_1378827c.jpg

Today West Ham United have completed the free transfer signing of Barry Ferguson. The 34 year old Scottish International joins the Hammers on a £2,700 a week deal. It is believed that Ferguson is absolutely delighted withy the deal despite not being available for the Premier League until January.

Daniel Oakes said:
I am happy that we have signed Barry onto the books. We have a very superior midfield but a very young one. I doubt that Barry will jump straight into the squad but he will add some experience to the middle of the park. He will also be a brilliant tutor for our young midfield player and I believe he is a great example to follow.

October update coming up at around 6:30-7:00 when I finish college :)

''We will win the league''

On Sky Sports News today, Mamadou Sakho came out with a statement saying that his West Ham team will win the Premier League this season.

Mamadou Sakho said:
We have a great team here now and a fantastic manager. We came close last year, finishing second place and I believe we can go one step further this year. Our defence is looking very solid and our forward line is very fluid also. We will win the title.

Mamadou Sakho has been in brilliant form at the back so far this season and is wanted by a number of top European clubs.

West Ham 3-0 Shakhtar

West Ham played very well today to see off Shakhtar. West Ham were dominant tonight with Buonanotte, Cardozo and Soldado scoring to beat off Shakhtar with ease.

Arsenal 0-0 West Ham

Gael Clichy played well today as Arsenal failed to beat West Ham United at The Emirates. Both teams made plenty of chances but neither team did enough to take the win. It ended up as a result for both teams.

West Ham 3-2 Manchester United

marek_hamsik_gol.jpg

In a fantastic game at Upton Park, West Ham did enough to just about come away with a win against Man United. Marek Hamsik was the key player for the Hammers, bagging a brace and taking the game by the scruff of the neck.

West Ham 2-0 Stuttgart

West Ham took one step closer to qualification from Group G with their third victory in the Champions League this season. West Ham took the lead and doubled it very early on through Roberto Soldado and Oscar Cardozo and it proved that there was no way back for Stuttgart.

West Ham 4-1 Wigan

After going behind early on, West Ham came back to thrash Wigan four goals to one. Roberto Soldado had a fantastic time today, netting all four goals and showing what a player he really is and what value he is to West Ham United.

Fourth Round

West Ham 0-0 Bolton

West Ham win 5-3 on penalties

Matthew-Upson-001.jpg

In a poor match at Upton Park, neither side did enough to deserve the victory. Surprisingly, Bolton pushed for it more but Matt Upson had a great game, killing every attack. West Ham, in the end succeeded on penalties after a missed penalty by Dicks saw the Hammers through.

League Table

Daniel Oakes said:
I am delighted with this month, remaining unbeaten in a month full of tricky fixtures. I am absolutely ecstatic from our win against Man United and hope we can push on from these performances. We lie second in the league and I believe that we have a great chance of catching up at the top.

Nice month! Good to see the mighty Everton sitting on top though :P

Update will be tomorrow, in a newer update style. Hopefully one that does not take as long.

November/December/January

It has been an absolutely fantastic three months here at West Ham United Football Club. We have sprung up in the league and also still stand proudly in the Champions League and the F.A Cup.

These are the results for the last three months in the Barclays Premier League for West Ham United.

Daniel Oakes said:
With these fantastic results, we lie at the top of the table by seven clear points. We have been on fantastic form and have only lost one game in the first twenty five games and that was against Wolves. I believe that we are perfectly capable of closing out this league title and winning it for the first time in our history.

Daniel Oakes said:
We have been brilliant in the Champions League so far this season. We have qualified from a fairly decent group and we did it easily. We came out of the group stages with six victories out of six. As a reward of this, we have been given a tie against Bayern Munich in the First Knockout Round which will undoubtedly be a challenge. I believe we can take it to them though.

Daniel Oakes said:
We remain in the F.A. Cup after two away ties. I believe we can go on to win it again this year as we are in devastatingly good form at the moment.

Daniel Oakes said:
This is the only sour point of our season thus far. We were eliminated out of the Carling Cup at the Quarter Final stage. I would have loved to retain the trophy but it was not to be as Liverpool progressed. I am still absolutely delighted about how things are going at this club and I believe we could even do the treble.

Doin great ;)
You got a screenshot of your most recent transfers?
Cheers

Duo leave for pastures new

In the only action to come out of Upton Park this January, Daniel Oakes has announced the sales of two players. Hatem Ben Arfa has left the club after just six months for a fee of £5 million for Leverkusen. The second departure was a shock as fan favourite Diego Buonanotte left for Fiorentina for £17.5 million.

Daniel Oakes said:
I am pretty happy with my sales this January. Hatem left the club after a terrible time here. He has not played much at all because he has never been fit. I am kind of upset to see Diego go as he was a great player but the fee of nearly £18 million was too good to refuse. Over time this will nearly get rid of the debt we were in and it needed to be done. I wish good luck to both players in their future careers.

Nice to see you on top, hopefully can go on and win the league from here :)

Good transfers there, should help clear your debts!

Dan, mate, great story, but I need a bit of help with mine! I can't get headers that go all the way across the page, just images that are enlarged. Have a look at my story (In sig) and you'll know what I mean.
