View attachment 92060

West Ham have pulled off a shock ahead of what could be another record breaking season for the club. Daniel Oakes has formerly sacked Brian McClair as his Assistant Manager and long time friend, Daniel Jones has been hired. Not many have heard about Jones but it is believed he has a wealth of Football Manager experience that he can bring to the real game. Daniel Oakes is delighted with the appointment.

Daniel Oakes said:
I am delighted to be working with Dan and I believe he can help the club repeat the success of last year. We have been friends for a while and I needed to bring someone to the club to help relieve my stress. I am sure Dan will do a great job with me and he will be very helpful with team selections and other things.

New West Ham assistant Daniel Jones has made his first Press conference today. The press conference was infront of a reported 200 people including up to 50 Reporters. The appointment of Jones came as a shock to all Football fans seeing as McClair has been assistant for the last 2 years. Jones is a an unknown icon of the football world. The only reason he got the job is that he's a long life friend of manager Daniel Oakes. I'm sure all Hammer fans think it's the right decision.

Here are the Questions asked & Answered in Jones' Interview:

How do you feel to be the new assistant manager at West Ham United?
I'm delighted iv'e managed to get the Job. I can't wait to get started.

Do you believe that you will be under more pressure because you are relatively unknown in the footballing world?
Nope, not at all. If i'm not known to the public, there won't be as much pressure on me.

Do you feel that working under a manager with the reputation of Daniel Oakes will help you become a better coach?
Yes i do. He's achieved so much in his time here, and i'll be learning about how he managers.

What do you think you have to offer? Being unknown by many it must be difficult to make an impression?
What i have to offer is my attacking skills. I'm very good at attacking. Also scouting, i'm very good in the transfer window.

What do you think the future has in store for West Ham?
The future of West Ham is very good. We're a young team, with a lot of Potential and with Oakes as manager, we can do anything.

How is your Relationship with manager Daniel Oakes?
We've been friends for a very long time now. I feel we'll work very well together. I can't wait to start work with him.

What will you be doing club wise?

Guillermo Ochoa
View attachment 92356
A great back up keeper. Maybe getting on a bit. Maybe try and get a new, younger keeper in. 8/10

Defenders:

Deigo Renan
View attachment 92355
A very strong Left back. Got atleast 6 years left in him. Heading is a bit dodgy. Would also make a good Left midfielder. - 9.5/10

Dodo
View attachment 92359
Another Left back. Renan is defiantly stronger than him, but is a great bet for a back up LB. At the age of 22, very impressive. - 7.5/10

Kiko Femenia
View attachment 92360
Not the best defending in the world, but he's alright. Physical stats are good. Overall an Okay player. - 7/10

Valdson
View attachment 92361
At the age of 18, he's a brilliant player and a great prospect. Maybe loan him out, and recall if needed. - 9/10

Rogerio

Urm, An okay player. Only 19, still got a lot of time to improve. Physical stats are poor. Maybe loan him out. - 6/10

A very strong player. Plays CB and does a good job of it. Not the best players, but a pretty good one. - 7/10

A very very good Centre back. Still very young, and i believe he's one of the best in the league. Physical stats are amazing. - 9.9/10

A good player, Stat's are dropping at the moment, but the Physical stats again are amazing. First team maybe. - 8/10

Defenders Round Up:
We have a good defence. The Physical stats of the defence are absolutely brilliant. Very strong defence with some real good prospects. Maybe need to get a few more defenders in. Overall i would rate our defence 9/10.

Stand Out Defender - Nikita Vasiljev

Midfielders:

Marco Verratti

Possibly one of the best midfielders in the League. He's got it all, and at the age of 21, he's got a very good future. - 10/10

Robinho
View attachment 92370
Even at the age of 30, he still performs. Physical stats are great. Only got one more season in him at Top football. - 8/10

Mauro Zarate
View attachment 92372
Good player. Maybe try and tell him now while he's on his top. Back up for the squad. Not a bad back to have. - 7.5/10

Jack Rodwell.
View attachment 92374
Still young, would make a good DM. He has good strength & Stamina. Maybe should push into the squad this year. - 7/10

Sergio Canales
View attachment 92383
Good young player. Would make a good Attacking Midfielder. Good player. Push for first team this & next season. - 8/10

Marek Hamsik
View attachment 92390
A fantastic player. Tackling is abit dodgy, but everything else makes up for that. And overall great player. - 10/10

Steve King
View attachment 92392
Another great player. 19 years of age. And he's in the top 10 midfielders in this country. Gonna be a great player. - 10/10

View attachment 92394
Great player. Could play anywhere in midfielder and play it great. His Technical stats are amazing. One of the best iv'e seen. - 10/10

Midfielders Round Up:
We have, in my opinion, the best midfield in the country maybe in the world. We have a very young, promising midfield. They work as a team, attack together and defend together. Team's find it hard to get past them.

Stand Out Midfielder - Steve King.

Forwards:

Daniel Vogel.
View attachment 92424
A fantastic striker. He's only 20 and most of his stats are over 15. He'll be a very good player in the future without a doubt. - 10/10

Roberto Soldado.
View attachment 92422
Another great striker. He's coming up to his 30th birthday, but his Physical stats are like a 19 year old. Number 9 for a reason. - 10/10

Oliveira
View attachment 92423
What a striker. Once again he's 20 and has most of his stasts over 15. If he doesn't become the best striker in the world i'll be amazed. - 10/10

Romelu Lukaku
View attachment 92427
I think we should be taking advantage of Romelu. He's not the best striker. Maybe loan him out to a championship side. - 7/10

Nelson
View attachment 92421
He's only 18, but he looks like a great player. He still has 10+ years left in him. And believe me, he'll become great.

Strikers Round Up:
We have an excellent strike force. Any defence would fear these bunch of Strikers. Most of them are 20 Under, so a there's another for now, and the future. I think we have no need to buy anymore strikers.

Stand Out Striker - Daniel Vogel.

Community Shield

Chelsea v West Ham

community-shield.jpg

West Ham fans will be yet again smiling tonight as the Hammers lifted the Community Shield for the second consecutive year. West Ham fans could not celebrate a 90 minute victory however as they triumphed on penalties after Anatoliy Melnik's winning strike. Before it came down to the crunch, it was a very equal 90 minutes and it was only fair that it was settled on penalties. West Ham fans will be indeed delighted with yet another success from manager Daniel Oakes and it appears that Daniel Jones is indeed helping the club strive for more success.

Daniel Oakes said:
I am absolutely delighted to retain the Shield this year. Although it is not that prestigious of a title, it will always share a place in my heart. I am delighted with the effort the lads have put in yet again and our new young player Melnik scored the winning penalty.

Daniel Jones said:
It's great to beat a team like Chelsea, even if it was on penalties. It's my first ever trophy, even though i'm only assistant. We've won this, now we plan to win 4 other trophies in the next 9 months. We have a great team, and i'm sure we can win those 4 other trophies. But today is about the Community Shield, and we deserved to win in my opinion.
