West Ham continued their march on in the group stages with a win over Leverkusen. Oliveira opened the scoring in the first fifteen minutes with a well placed finish. Roberto Soldado then doubled the lead on the 45th minute only for Ochoa to score an own goal to reduce the deficit to one. The second half was pretty dour and it pittered out to a West Ham win.

It looked as if there may be an upset on the books when West Brom took the lead through James Fenton after 23 minutes. The champions however, showed their calibre in the second half and goals from Sergio Canales and Marco Verratti handed them the win.

Zenit v West Ham

In a game in Russia which was expected to be a close affair with West Ham and Zenit, the reigning champions coasted to victory. Goals from Otamendi, King, Veloso, Vogel and Hamsik handed the Hammers a fantastic win.

Tottenham v West Ham

In a tight game at White Hart Lane, it only took one goal to seperate the two bitter rivals. A 48th minute strike from Daniel Vogel was the only goal and gave West Ham the win. The Hammers had a chance to double their lead but Marco Verratti missed a penalty. As a result, West Ham had to hang on for their desired result and did so successfully.

West Ham v Aston Villa

In the fourth round of the Carling Cup at Upton Park, it took 120 minutes to seperate West ham and Aston Villa. There were many chances in normal time but none came to fruition. A fabulous brace from Daniel Vogel in extra time gave West Ham a quarter final place.

I am absolutely delighted with the success we have had this month at the club. We won every match we played in and I can not ask anymore of them. We are top of the league by a few points now and I fully expect us to hold on to that. We are also not far off getting through in the Champions League and that tournament is sure to be interested

November's Games

View attachment 97221

This will be our toughest month to date. We will play three of the best sides in the league, three games in a row in Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea. However I believe we can win all three and take another few steps closer to another league title.

Neh not really, Have been buying in all of my talents from abroad. Hopefully will get some top prospects in the coming seasons as I have high class youth and training facilities. And Thanks.

Looking good Dan.. glad you've kept this going! :)

Just read the whole story
Its a good read, long read but good read ;D

Looks like i'm going to have to read 21 pages then in the next couple of days then! For some obscure reason i haven't been following... Until now :).
From what i've seen, skimming through 10 or so pages, this story looks class. It's always good to see a story go on for so long, and this one is no different. Very well done on your success, and good luck for the rest of this season mate. I'll be checking back as often as i can now. (A)

West Ham v Wigan

When West Ham met Wigan Athletic at Upton Park today, all fans around the country expected only one result. West Ham obliged with a 2-1 win with a Daniel Vogel brace. Jordi Gomez grabbed a consolation goal for the Latics after 80 minutes.

West Ham v Zenit

West Ham continued their Champions League campaign in their home fixture against Zenit St Petersburg. Roberto Soldado took the lead after just seven minutes. Soldado then added with his second ten minutes after the break and Marco Verratti made it three only three minutes from time to give the Hammers a comfortable victory.

West Ham v Manchester City

West Ham United looked like they may succumb to their first loss of the season against the Citizens when Emmanuel Adebayor put City in front after 11 minutes. Man City carried the lead into half time and manager Daniel Oakes had to have some words with his team. Something must have gone on in the locker room as goals from Marco Verratti and Marek Hamsik handed West Ham a vital win.

Liverpool v West Ham

It was always going to be a tight game when Champions West Ham travelled to Anfield to take on Liverpool. It started out with plenty of chances from either side and any of them could have taken the lead. The deadlock was broken when Roberto Soldado guided home a ball into the bottom corner after half an hour. The game was put more in the Hammer's favour when Marek Hamsik doubled their lead three minutes later. West Ham played well for the rest of the game and held out for yet another great win.

West Ham v Chelsea

West Ham continued to trudge through their tough run of games when they took on Chelsea at Upton Park. Young midfielder Jack Rodwell took the lead after just half an hour and the Hammers never looked back. Twenty minutes after the break, Roberto Soldado doubled the Hammers lead to extend them to a record of straight wins for the club.

Sunderland v West Ham

After the win against Chelsea, all people associated with West Ham United were in high spirits as they travelled up to Sunderland. The Hammers could not have started the game better after Marek Hamsik struck after just one minute. Roberto Soldado doubled the lead just before the half hour mark and West Ham never looked to be challenged by an average Black Cats side. It proved a bit of a tough game to swallow however as both Roberto Soldado and Daniel Vogel were injured in the game.

West Ham v Maccabi Haifa

In the return game against Haifa at Upton Park, West Ham were only able to field a half strength side. Youngster Romelu Lukaku started and made a massive impact. West Ham took the lead through Lukaku just after half time. Marco Verratti then doubled the Hammers lead after knocking home a penalty. Romelu Lukaku then notched his second ten minutes from time to seal West Ham's 5th win out of 5 in the group stage.

West Ham v Aston Villa

In an action packed game at Upton Park, West Ham may have to count themselves lucky to come away with the win. Marco Verratti scored the only goal of the game after the Hammers were given a penalty after 70 minutes and he duelly smashed it home. Hammers left back Dodo was sent off nine minutes from time and West Ham looked very shaky after that. The champions gave away a penalty in extra time and were very lucky when Nathan Delfouneso shot it straight into the goalkeepers arms. This is a win at the end of the season that West Ham will look back on and say, we were lucky.

Yet again, I am delighted with this months performances. We have again gone through the month with 100% wins, through some tough games against Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool. I look forward to continuing forward and keeping up our form.

Next Month's Fixtures

Next month is a month to look forward to when we take place in our first ever Club World Championship in Korea. After this, we have two tough games at the Emirates and Old Trafford and we will need to mainly focus on those games. I will quite possibly field a few youngsters in the World Championship to give them some big game experience.

good stuff Dan, glad to see you still going and have still got people interested, good job :D

Thanks a lot pal. Getting to quite a long story now :P

East London beckons for Dzeko

Manchester+United+v+VfL+Wolfsburg+UEFA+Champions+BM9v3xCCxnul.jpg

After months of speculation from West Ham, the quadruple champions of last season have completed the signing of Edin Dzeko from Barcelona. West Ham offered Barcelona the £24 million minimum release clause in Edin's contract and it is across Europe that it is a fantastic deal for the English club. After the offer was accepted, it was just down to West Ham and Dzeko and the Bosnian striker was offered a deal he could not refuse. Edin Dzeko will join West Ham in January 2015.

Just hours after completing the Dzeko deal, Daniel Oakes completed the move for two full backs to come to West Ham United. Spanish right back Jesus Gaméz joins the English champions for a fee of £8.75 million which meets his release clause with Málaga. American left back Gilberto Jordón also joins the Hammers from Málaga for his release clause of £8.25 million and Oakes saw both players as bargains. Both players will join West Ham with Edin Dzeko on January 1st 2015.

I am delighted with the acquisitions that are to arrive in January. Edin will no doubt be a masterstroke and I am proud at identifying the loophole in his Barcelona contract. Gamez and Jórdon will be very good squad players and be well worth the money.

I see you're ahead in your actual game.. does that mean quicker updates? :O
