Raheem Sterling has just put us inches away from winning our first Premier League title in 28 years. We play Nottingham Forrest away and if we get just one point from that game the league is ours. Chelsea have two games to play and are 3 points behind us, but one of them is in-form Arsenal at the Emirates, I'm fairly confident.

The teams are out and everyone is ready for yet another tense last day of the season. Will Liverpool get the point they need today to lift the title or will their fierce rivals Chelsea ****** it from them on the last day of the season? Let's find out.

Costa puts Chelsea 1-0 up in 3 minutes as Liverpool look like they might fall at the last hurdle as Forrest go 1-0 up with a goal from Assombalonga. Surely this could not be happening?

Assombalonga makes it worse for Liverpool after they managed to pull one back courtesy of Gabriel Barbosa by scoring a penalty form the spot, Chelsea are top of the league going into half time.

Or not! Sterling fires Liverpool level just before the half time whistle, that will change things. Liverpool go back on top.

Liverpool fan Theo Walcott could have just handed them the title as he scored a lovely finish to put Arsenal level. Chelsea need to score and Liverpool need to concede in the next 15 minutes otherwise Liverpool will finally lift the Premier League.

Liverpool win the league! Dybala comes off the bench and nets a 93rd minute winner for the reds to end any worries they could have had! This is the first time Liverpool have won the league in 28 years! They have finally give their fans something back for everything they have given them over these past two decades. They can now focus on the Champions League final against Madrid to see if they can complete a fantastic double.

As if Jamie Carragher wasn't a Liverpool legend anyway. He has turned this club right around again and him and Steven Gerrard have managed to win the title for Liverpool at last, even if it is while managing, they wont care!

Can Liverpool win their 6th Champions League?

Joe Allen puts Liverpool 1-0 up after Liverpool's lengthy spell of possession. A brilliant half hour for Liverpool!

It was Madrid's main man Ronaldo who put them level on 54 minutes. With no further goals the match went into extra time.

Sergio Ramos and Balanta both received red card to set Madrid to finish the match off with 9 men.

LIVERPOOL WIN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE!

After a last minute Navas own goal Liverpool lift the Champions League for the sixth time.

Well Done Jamie, great achievements, hopefully this will NOT happen IRL!

To be fair I was surprised to even win one of the competitions never mind both! I finished the season with £43 million transfer budget and 800k a week extra in wage budget (don't know why that was so high) So hopefully they add to that as I'm looking to bring in the likes of Pogba if I can. Apparently Bale is interested in joining too! Could be some good signings if I can afford one of them.

122 league goals. Thats incredible. You must be delighted at how Barbosa has performed this season

He's been brilliant! He suffered some really bad form at the end of the season but I think that's because i burnt him out a litlle, Sturridge and Dybala covered well when needed! I was most surprised with Markovic!

Been reading this post for a long while now, loving seeing Carragher do well at Liverpool with being a Liverpool fan!
