Jamie Carragher - A Managers Story

View attachment 302458

Our third Merseyside derby this season ended in a win over local rivals Everton. After United hammering us at home we needed to get a result here to keep the 5 point gap on Chelsea. Again we did not look our best and it is beginning to look like this run of form may be coming to an end, but not if I can stop that.

A win which see's us into the quarter final of the Champions League. But who will we get?

We are paired up with our fierce rivals Manchester United again. United will have the upper hand mentally as the last time both sides met they ran out comfortable 5-0 winners. I have a plan to stop them though. A win against these could see us on for the famous treble, although it will be a big ask.

What a loss to the Mancs... Chance for redemption at least. How is it you can get the victory at Goodison Park while IRL yesterday we struggled to look like a top 4 challenger :S

More points dropped and now I'm starting to get worried that we could be afcing another Jamie Carragher end of season melt down like we did at Valencia. To throw this away now would be too reminiscent of the 2013/14 season and the fans don't deserve to go through that again. We must win the league.

2 big wins for us in 8 days. We go through to the semi finals of the Champions League after beating United over two legs, and we also got an away win at the Emirates. Here is the draw for the Champions League:

We will face Juventus in the Semi Final. Juventus currently lie 12th in the Serie A but seem to be doing the business in this competition so we will hope we can manage to get to the final. The other Semi Final is Real Madrid vs Arsenal. Which we will be hoping that Arsenal get to the final if we do as we are confident of beating them. This is how the league looks with 5 games left:

It's in our hands. If we win the last 5 we win the league. It's as simple as that.

Woudl you say so? I thought we played quite well. It's always a different game in the derby but yesterday didn't live up to expectations, Liverpool dominated the game though, and how good was Ibe?!

Its a heck of a career Jamie. Starting small, not much success to now being the manager of a team who cant seem to stop scoring and winning.

Mentall isn't it! Out of the 3 it's the league I want to win the most, but knowing the treble is on and I'm in two semi finals shows the progress I have come over in this career, it would be a miracle if I did it!

A big night at Anfield as we look to secure the league in our last 5 games. The first ended in a comfortable 1-0 win although there could of been more goals. Markovic finished his only chance of the game and now we need to carry on. 4 big big finals to go now, at least that's how we have to look at it.

Number 2 down. This is the biggest out of the last 4 too. Norwich have been in great form this season and we've stopped them at home. Normally we wouldn't think nothing of these games but with the added pressure we are trying our best to cope. 3 more to go.

A tough game but we managed to get through, our squad is looking so tired after the last few games, and I'm beginning to worry about their mental state going into the last 3 league games.

I really like the way you add the pictures by the way adds more spice to the story

Cheers mate! It's hard to do it when a signing on this scores the goals because there not pictured of them in a Liverpool shirt obviously so it's hard. Reckon I will win the league?

We turn on the style for the first time since we beat Man United in the Champions League. We were crushed after the 5-0 drubing at home and never really picked up the pace properly since despite getting some good results. 2 games left and we only need 4 points to win the league. We will now travel to Turin where we have a massive game against Juventus.
