I don't really have a long time playing FM, just like 1-2 months, and in my 2 saves I just wanted to make history with the club, but this thread make me want to try a journeyman save, it looks very entertaining and I'm definitely gonna do a save this way.

BTW, I'm also new to this page and I couldn't find a better thread to put my first post.

I'll be waiting for more because I'm really enjoying it.

No problem Vakarian. I'm glad to have you hear. Journeyman saves take a bit of dedication but they are quite rewarding. It dose stop you from buying the best players since you don't plan on spellbinding 4-6 years at one club: you'd only be building a monster you'd have to one day face.

Abandoning the 3-at-the-back system since I felt it was compromising my
control of the game, i switched to a possession based system and it turned
our fortunes: including a 2-1 win over top side Palermo! We're still conceding
goals but I've reduced by goals conceded per game from 2 to 1 which can only
be considered a good thing.

Having played most of the top half team in January and February, I think
we have a genuine chance of catching Palermo in 2nd. We may be 7 points
behind but that's quite manageable considering their recent form.

We almost had a clean-sheet clean sweep! Our defense is starting to look a little
bit more solid but I still feel that we should be doing better. We took a 2-0 lead in
the last game against Trapani only to loose it to two second half goals; one being
a CB clearing the ball back into the box for a tap in. It's a sloppy mistakes that are
costing us so I want to sort them out as soon as I can!

There is 1 point sepperating 3rd and 4th so only two team will gain
automatic promotion. There are fewer than 15 points between 3rd and
8th place (10 points) so only the top two will automatically qualify.

There will be a play-off for the 3rd promotion place.

We did all we could this month. We' had some highs; beating 3rd placed
Parma to move above them and occupy the highest non-automatic promotion
spot, and some lows; lose 2-1 to Reggina in a game we controlled but couldn't
take the lead.

We were 16th when I took over, I somehow managed to turn this into a
successful season and we now stand on the cusp of Serie A promotion.

No away goals and by virtue of being the highest ranked team in the play-off,

We have some phenomenal youngsters coming through the ranks at Chievo and it's
satisfying to know that they are the best youth side in their group. I'll be looking towards
the youth team much more given the obvious talent present in their ranks. I think they deserve
a serious go at first team football after their achievements this season.

Cheers guys. I'll be looking to win the division this time around and avoid having to go through the play-offs, though I'm not sure Macheda will be here next year: his contract expires in 12 months and the wage limit in Serie B means I can't offer him what he wants.

Cheers mate. I'll be back with another Liverpool 5 year plan next year. The signings Rodgers has been making is almost tailor made for my ideas :p Lot's of young talent :p

I could hear the waves in the distance. A serene tranquil scene to send me off
to sleep... that's why I turned off the TV and got back to work! I had a ton of
paper work to do and seeing business men relaxing on the beach was a creative
way for the Gods-of-Football to torture me!

"I needed a new back-line"... the words rang through my ears and they stung.
"Mechada's contract is up at the end of the season"... this one was a slap to the face!


I decide to bring in 2 new strikers to prepare for Mechada's inevitable departure.
We failed to secure promotion so we cannot hope to meet his wage demands with the
€5,200 p/w wage limit imposed by Serie B. Sure, it stopped clubs form going bust but
it was a thorn in our side! We only have ourselves to blame I guess: promotion would have
solved all our problems.
