Lille are a huge club with exactly the kind of set-up I adore! A youth first policy where they
produce their own! I think this is a challenge I'd love. I always said that I'd be using the Chievo
job to get recognition in Serie A. I'm moving up int he world lads :D​

I took a chance and It didn't pay off. I'm still under contract at Chievo and they haven't requested a
meeting to discuss my contract so I think they're happy for me to continue in my current role.

This has happened in every save in fm15. Even if you reply exactly what they want, if you are under contract, 9 out of 10 times they will pick someone else, even if he's not better than you.

A better team will come knocking soon, I'm sure of that, you're doing a great job in Chievo.

I'd received a formal job offer from the Football Association of Ireland. I flew out to Dublin to discus
contract details and to agree on competition expectations. Sitting 62nd in the FIFA World rankings,

A disappointing UEFA European Championship Qualifying campaign cost the Irish boss
is job as the FAI was forced to act to try curb the downward spiral. Loosing out to their
northern rivals was a particularly bitter pill to swallow and finishing beneath them was
considered utterly unacceptable. I have 2 years to prepare for the FIFA World Cup 2022
European qualifying campaign.

I'm very proud of the job that I've done at Chievo Verona and I've given them a great
start to life in Serie A. But to be honest, After I was linked with the Lille job, I felt
myself desiring a new challenge. I adored my time in Italy and hope to one day
return but helping Ireland climb back up the world rankings and make it to a major
international competition is a challenge I very much want to take on at this stage
in my career.

This was just amusing and I had to laugh. Minutes after I took the Ireland job in FM, my phone rang.
I'd sent an email to Limerick F.C. about doing doing some goalkeeping coaching with them.
Their Academy manager rang me asking if I was free tomorrow for a training session... :P​
 
Great choice for the assistant manager role. Stevie G. refused my offer in the English team. :@

Irish National Team is gonna be fun, good luck!

Cheers mate. He was the best candidate I found. His attributes aint bad and his experience int eh game should definitely help out :)
