This ping-pong game saw us take a commanding lead and then throw it away in
style! 7-1 loss in Lyon is enough to put anyone through. We drop down to the UEFA
Europa League for the 2020/21 season.

The Europa League drew us against Danish side Aalborg Boldspilklub in the final
round of qualifying before the group stages.



One of the major reason behind our erratic form was the playing staff at the club.
we have some amazing forwards but there wasn't a single senior CB or Wide-Back
at the club when I took over. I've had to make some critical signings to bring the
squad on-par with the rest of the competition.

Our youth setup isn't bringing anyone of notable quality so I could promote anyone
through the club so long term, we'll have to rely on the transfer market for now.

Unlucky against Spain mate but you couldn't do much, your career is really shaping up now!

We had a decent month. Only Anji spoiled our run by scoring twice in the last 10 minutes of the game.
The Europa League game against Braga was a true epic though.

A 3-goal come back and the points stolen in the final minutes. It kept our hopes of getting
out of the group alive but the trip to Rome finalized our group stage exit with a 1-4 loss.

Deeply disappointed but there's a lot of work yet to be done. I'm going to reshape this
squad and my aim is a Champions League Quarter-Final finish in the next 2 years.​

What can you do :P I'm still well proud of where I took that Irish side. Final 16 in the European Championship is nothignt o laugh at :) I've landed mysefl my first job at a top, top club. I'm expecting my career to really kick off now :)
