I've made huge moves in the Winter Transfer window to try save our season.
Many players going out, many players coming in. I finned Hulk near the
end of the season and the entire dressing room was split by it. I had to sell
him for the sake of harmony. Though Daniele De Rossi is a fantastic signing
to sure up the midfield.

The transfer window allowed me to sign a decent Right/Left back so I could switch to a flat 4
at the back. Our Cb's are just about not good enough to command the with of the pitch between
3 of them. Our mid-season form improved because of this and we had a great

We started our pre-season away in Germany. Despite the loss, I was quite
happy with our first game back.

Next up was a quite 4 match tour of China to build commercial ties in the
country. The Russian league itself dose not have the financial power of
other European leagues so strong commercial investment is key for our
European ambitions.

I signed this kid on loan for the second half of the season and he took tot he Russian league
like a duck to water. I'm very surprised we managed to pull him away from my hometown
club for just €6.5M.

With the Russian League's foreign player rule; maximum of 7 foreign players, success in this league
comes down to the domestic talent at the club. Having just won the Russian Premier League, having
best best Russian players is a natural target. Having left CSKA Moscow for European giants Real Madrid,
he didn't make the impact he'd have wanted in Spain and I was more than delighted to offer him a way
back into first team football. He'll be vital in our Champions League campaign.

€10M for the Zenith St.Petersberg wonderkid. With 10 international caps, at the tender age
of 19, this kid is already a well known talent in the Russian league but he could go on to be
a real star. I've signed him both for the future and as a ready made first team player.

I've committed myself to getting the best domestic talent in Russia and this
will defiantly benefit our-self's and the national side for years to come.
