Price Finds Net In Pre Season

View attachment 326819

Its turning out to be a dream pre season for John Price, having returned from Lithuania as a hero for the England under 19's, he was given a start by Harry Redknapp in the friendly against Luton and then came on in the game against MK Dons and bagged himself a goal. It was his first goal for the senior team, it came in a 4 nil rout away to the Dons and Price was over the moon to score his first senior goal,

' It felt brilliant to score for the senior team but im not satisfied yet, i want to establish myself around the first team and get that first competetive goal for my club. Im confident i can achieve my aim in the next two seasons, firstly to make a first team appearance and secondy to get on the scoresheet.'

Price must now continue the hard work and hope that someone from the first team is taking notice.

Price Shows No Remorse Towards Employers

View attachment 326842

When it comes to football it doesnt matter who your playing you have to play well, and John Price didnt let the face he was playing against the team who pay him affect his performance on a warm septembers evening. Price bagged twice for Brighton Reserves as they beat QPR reserves 2-1 in a reserves league game. It's clear that he is keen to show his employers exactly what he can offer and a few people will surely be paying attention to his form this season.

Price has made 5 appearances for Brightons first team, still looking for his first professional goal and 3 times for their lower teams scoring 3 times along the way. This was certainly one way to show that you have the talent to make an impact for your team!

Another stand out performance from QPR loanee John Price had tongues wagging at the american Express Community Stadium as he put in yet another stunning performance. Price scored a beautiful little chip from the edge of the area and ran the show for Brighton as their number 10, culminating in the 16 year old picking up the man of the match award. At such a young age its difficult to see any other future for Price than a career at the top of the game.

Really enjoying this, he's developing very well and putting in great performances. Not gonna post every game just big moments in his career and great performances.

During his time at Brighton Price made 16 first team appearances, scoring 4 times and making 5 assists. He must now return to Loftus Road and try to make an impact in the lower leagues to impress Mr Redknapp and hopefully make a competitive debut for the first team.

Price Makes First Team Debut

View attachment 326941

Growing up John Price was a Manchester United supporter through and through, so it was always going to be the case that his first team debut for QPR would be against the club he grew up to love. Price came on in the FA cup semi final in the 54th minute in their 2-1 win over United. Price was over the moon with his debut;

'Its a dream come true to play for a big club like QPR, and to do it against the club i loved as a child makes it even better. It was a moment i will never forget but i know that this is where the real hard work begins'

Price has been a regular on the QPR bench recently and now he has been given a chance he will be hoping he doesnt have to wait as long for his next one.

In just two seasons John Price has managed to rack up 97 appearances at 5 different levels of the game, hes scored over 50 goals and created 32. Its been a great start to his career and he will be hoping he can continue at the same rate as it has begun. It will be a key season next time around for the 16 year old who will no doubt be looking to gain more first team experience by going out on loan if the QPR manager can not give him enough playing time at Loftus Road. How long can England manager Roy Hodgson overlook the youngster before giving him a cap? Its exciting times for the young man.

great start there!!! how long do you think 'till he moves to a bigger club?

He will sign a professional contract when he turns 17 in early september so it could happen then.... More likely when he establishes himself as a first team player at QPR i'd say.

Loving the fact someone has started a new Player Story inspired by mine!! Hope to see some more out there soon.
