I downloaded the one linked in the OP. Even the screenshots on the tactic page in the download section showed the correct formation, that's what confused me the most.

I done what you said JP and stuck with it and these have been my last 5 results after we lost to West Ham.

Sorry about my mini rant last night but i just really hate losing to Wolves :D. And thinking about it just before my first match of season I rejected bids from chelsea for Bramble and Cahill which put them in a mood. Anyway just hope it continues now.

Good to see things are picking up for you. Sure you will beat Wolves too. I won there 5-2 this season and they are going well too.

Was extremely weird, I downloaded the tactic, put it in the tactics folder and then loaded it on my game to find that the formation you have displayed in screenshot wasn't the one it gave me in game.

When I selected it it gave me a 4-2-3-1... Very weird.
Cant understand it,nobody else is having the problem oO) When did you download?

Try this link: http://www27.zippyshare.com/v/3418064/file.html

That's actually JPs first tactic. Maybe you still have both tactics and just selected v1 instead of v3?

You know, that wouldn't surprise me, I was up real early for me this morning.

Hehe I just came up with that idea because it happened to me the first time I loaded the tactic. :D

Cheers JP I will use this, haven't played fm in ages so I need to get that winning feeling back :P Thanks

Sorry about that. ;)

Dont forget to swap the Complete Forward to a Deep Lying FW and see if its any better guys.

I'm not changing anything at the moment, going fantastic. Thanks alot :D

Actually the changes for my defenders worked out quite well, if one of them goes out wide the DM usually takes his spot in the defence so it hasn't been a problem so far. I also think it's very stable now at the back if it is because the team gelled more towards the tactic or if it is the man marking I don't know but now everything seams to work great.

Thats making the 2 outside CBs man mark?

Yes. But as I said I don't really know if it's because my team has finally figured out how to play this formation or due to the fact that the outside CDs are on man mark now.

I will test if my defence still looks as stable when I change back to your original settings with a DLF that should solve the question if it's the man marking or the gelling.

I'm going to try the 2 outside CB man mark thingy and see if that will help my defensive worries. I conceded 61 in the league although I scored 66 but still that's a huge number to concede

My using this tactic has come to a halt due to conceding 3 against Almeria with Real Madrid all down to opposition crosses. Don't get me wrong, the tactic is good and does supply wins but I don't think I have the CBs for this tactic (When on the screen where is highlights the stats your CBs would need, there are many that are grey).

I think I built a team that this tactic doesn't work wonders with. Nice work anyway JP.

Reguarding the forwards, the Deep lying forward has stopped working so i tried making the 2 outside forwards Complete forwards as they have crossing on often so it makes sense, the central striker is now a poacher. First game i beat Arsenal 3-0 so we'll see what happens over a few games.

Thanks for testing, even if it was for less than an hour :S

Yeah sorry about that, I would have continued but this is on my main save and I already had a very effective one. Assuming I make another game I will certainly use this properly and lean towards building the right team for it. (With my Real Madrid game I have 4 full backs. This tactic deems them pointless).

No probs, you do need 3 quality CBs,and 2 in reserve.
