Some good wheeling and dealing,out with the old and in with the young,and you nicked Jonjo Shelvey from Liverpool
You will have to give your team a good gelling period because you have bought and sold so many but once they get used to each other and the tactic you should do very well.
Yeah the 'gelling' period is always horrible hehe.
The way I see it, try and buy all the players you want at the start, cause that way when you put them into the first team after a season or two, they can speak the language, know the club/players which I 'think' may speed up their transition into the first team - thus lowering the gelling time.
I just beat Inter Milan 3-0 in the Super Cup whoop whoop!

Still on national reputation for my team (No idea why, Im ranked 5-8 in Europe every season, any ideas on that?), so cant keep my best players for long
I noticed club reputation is hard to increase (my players kept asking to leave). I did not play my game save as long as you, but this is what happened for me;
Club - Southend United
Year 1 - I finish top of Division 1. Promoted to the Championship
Year 2 - I finish 2nd in the Championship (I am promoted via play offs)
Year 3 - I finish 13th in the English Premier League (Premiership)
Year 4 - I finish 4th in the English Premier League (Premiership)
Year 5 - I finish 3rd in the English Premier League (Premiership). 2nd, 3rd, 4th were all even on points, but Man Utd scored more than me. I also got to the quater finals of the Champions League before losing to Barcelona.
Using Genie Scout I checked my club reputation. It was 7400. Man Utd's club reputation is 9700.
I checked teams like Aston Villa, Everton etc. These clubs finish in the top half of the table every year. Their reputation was the same as mine.
One other problem I noticed is the board were not willing to improve the stadium.
