Kallemannen & ChristianEriksen - Ultimate 4231

Thanks for the input!
Yeah thats the problem, its been a struggle getting the AP to perform, he will be more of a midfielder.

The narrow is promising, but the Wide one is the best one right now
But its the same problem there, not a problem for the tactic, but we all want the AMC to have a huge impact
but he hasnt

I havent figured a way

Narrow is good
But Wide is.. yeah, enjoying it like crazy right now. With 15.3 and the slightly new OI, it became even better.

Narrow is such a difficult formation, so probably me and Eriksen will improve the 4-2-3-1 wide even further!

can u show us some results(wide) ?

The narrow smashes any team that play 1 attacking midfielder, just beat QPR and their attacking mid got a rating of 3.0

Hi KA and CE, so does this means the other threads are dead ? I mean your old 1mil thread, the 4231 balanced, and 3ST.. It's too many i have to keep up, so yeah...

Anyway good job ! gonna try this with my newcastle save.. still early in the season

giving up on my save with this tactic, far too inconsistent for me, its a shame cos i really would love a 4231 that is solid, thanks anyway though guys

I still continu with the beautiful play thread. The other one's was just a tactic sharing thread and I am not going to tweak that.

Liverpool FC, season 1, no signings.
As I was tweaking the tactic the whole season I show you just the results with the latest version.

Looking nice CE! :) currently using this tac for my Newcastle side.. Been on a good run.. Lost only to ManCity (away) 0-1.. But stats-wise, we were the better team..

Anywyay please update your 433 Winger tac.. I mean, this tac is great, but i'm short of good AMCs ! I'm newcastle for god sake ! :P

Hi CE and KA,

Judging by alot of the comments in the thread alot of people are getting great results with just the 'wide' tactic! do you recommend me just using that tactic then instead of the other 2? I am tottenham manager, haven't made any signings as of yet..

Been working on something! (A)

So latest winger version seems to be getting great reviews....:) Is that on OP? One on counter?

Looked and can only see v1's of both tactics?

It depends what players you got. Of course the wide would be better first season since you are short on natural AMCs.
The problem with the narrow is that, its really hard to beat some formation or teams playing packed in the central defensive area.

But yes, I think the wide one is overall better/more stable

what version of the wide, is everyone getting the great results with? and where do I find it? Do we still alter it depending on opps style of play- drop deep take off offside trap for long ball direct?

OP updated by Christian
The "super" tactic is the wide, and we will improve it even more

The narrow is a more of advanced concept tactic you can use with an advanced team (like liverpool) if you want to experiment with a lot of AMC :)

Always start with press.
Try to anticipate when opponent will start long balling, then switch to drop

To defend lead/huge underdog = counter

After 2-0 up, switched to the counter:
