Koflok's Goals Galore 2011

Awesome tactic, using it with Leeds now. Becchio seems to be an awesome striker for the role on top in the Championship. Will post results later.

One thing; i seem to be struggling a bit with goals against teams who play direct and counter - I'll tweak some on that too and get back to you with the results.
 
Cheers to all of you who are either waiting for the tactic or is currently playing around with it.

Just to sum things up after almost-24 hours

These are mainly the inputs I have received and applied and so far "succeed"
1. Drill cross
2. Standard mentality
3. Normal d-line
4. Full back man mark - no tight - tackle normal (against crossing)
5. Central def man mark - tight
6. More direct passing style for attacking players
7. Man mark on defending corners (to concede less goals from corner)

Things yet to be tested
1. Nike-defense system
2. Pushing up mentality of defenders instead of making attackers on 'standard' mentality (if you get what I mean)
3. Slower tempo and more time wasting for better chances (?)
 
It's look like a cool tactic,i hope u update it(are u indonesian?)sorry for the bad writing cause im saw your story on same time so im getting confused

What story? The one on my siggy? Hahaha forgot to remove that.
Not many people got interested in that kind of story so I decided to stop writing it a while back. :P
 
Hey Koflok how you do that with hercules ive started a career and brought the players you had and used your tactics and i still have lost every game in the league any suggestions would be helpful
 
well is your tactic can used on the demo?your story is funny actually(im indonesian too)

You are able to use this tactic in the demo. I haven't got a clue if it'll do any good, but it is possible.

About that Nike-defense system : tried that and it seams it`s not working that good like in FM10 , most of times the one with cover duty was alone against those who support the striker(s) ... at least , not worked for me

P.S. JUST WON THE UEFA CUP ....DUDE , WHAT A TACTIC ! WHAT A TACTIC !

thanks for the tactic .... been tryin it out n the main tweak needed is man marking cause the flaw of zonal marking is leaking goals during corners ..... also another is the team width since u have inside forwards rather than wingers who exploit the flanks its better setting it to narrow or jus above tat cause tat way ur inside forwards get into the box more often .... also ive changed the corner stratergy esp having a player with good agression challenging the keeper n one of the CBs for a near post flick on helps a lot ... cheers

also i started using it with arsenal but like many ppl have said before it doen work that often although it works pretty well on atletico madrid n burnley wit a bit of tweaking ... not exactly goals galore but yea gets the job done ^^)
 
Hve you tried to put your FC as "target man"? not changing him from deep-lying striker but on team settings appointing him your target man. Done that in a couple of games now and seems to work pretty well!

He does have to have a average passing skills, so that you don't end up losing balls.

This seems to give time to the inside forwards to arrive to the box and score

Oh my god. The ignorance of some people is really annoying me. Could you just read the first post, before shouting out loud some dumb stuff which doesn't make sense at all?

Concerning the final version, I can assure you that it is nowhere near finished. This is a beta - perhaps Koflok should've called it alpha (lol) - which needs to be tweaked till perfection. Besides, if you're looking for a plug and play tactic you might as well quit Football Manager.
