Second season done and being newly promoted to the Norwegian Premier division,the media predicted I would end up 16th and get relegated.
Been using V3 of this tactic,but didn't really dominate possession-wise,but I still got results.
Managed to win both the league and the cup!
The only time I really slipped was when I got kicked out of the EURO cup by Metalist...

That's awesome man!
For a promoted team to play in EURO Cup itself is already something I guess.

Off topic: Metalist is not a bad team btw. Last time around they had Jaja I always picked on my drafting-type online league. He's a beast especially from set pieces. Wonder if they still had him

im playing with arsenal at the moment and im top of the league after 9 games so far so its all good so far, except for one thing, fabregas..

im playing with the V3 tactic and have him playing as the advanced playmaker, and so far hes only scored 1 goal and 0 assists, how can i improve his performances?

Okay, try this. Make fabregas advanced playmaker on attack, dribbles often, run from deep mixed.

Hey Koflok,i am trying your ta tactic with City,i use Balotelli on the right and Silva on the left..tevez up front .Hamsik and Barry/Toure in the midfield and Jong as def mid. Do you think this is good or would you havd done otherways? i also wonder if you do anthing on Opposing instructions before the match and how do u use teamtalk.

Hamsik is a perfect playmaker a reckon. Yeah it's good I think.
You can try making Silva on the right winger as the playmaker too.
Because he's really good on the ball and have the creativity to make plays

My stats:
HOME: 7 Wins, 1 Draw, 1 Losses
AWAY: 2 Wins, 6 Draws, 2 Losses

Hmm okay. SO away is still a problem. I think SI have 'overrated' the difficulty of away games this year.
Guess I have to start building an away tactic soon too.

Okay so here's what you can do I think.
1. Play lower tempo, somewhere around the middle will be good.
2. Make mentality on standard (optional) - I always play attacking but hey, who knows?
3. Make sure d-line is still on normal. If they have agbonlahor-type striker, make it deeper a little bit
4. Put 2 DMC and 1 MC. Sacrifice the LCM and make him another defensive midfielder.
5. Fullbacks settings - defend. Run from deep, run with ball, through balls on rarely.
6. Save this tactic and put this on match preparation as 2nd tactic. That way on match days it's not awkward to play this formation

Hi I recently downloaded your V3 tac and have had a solid but not superb run with Inter Milan 3 season in

I won usually by the score of 2-1 or 1-0 and got draw many games on away. Any suggestion on how to improve on this. Thx for any advice.

Okay the scores could've been higher. Have put a minimum dimension on the pitch right?

I think i got the idea for away match problem but never try it yet.. so can someone who has same problem with me try it and post the result
The trick is simple.. just put one tactic (koflok gg in this case since i so interest in his/her tactic but have to move on another because I lost streak in away match ) in match preparation and let the assistance take care of it.

yes i change lots in mid.. in the first season used dm xabi/lass.. rcm khedira/canales/xabi.. lcm ozil/kaka/canales... rwing ronaldo/leon.. lwing granero/dimaria.. but in the 2nd season i had lots offers from agents and find wonderfull young amc 18 years old.. the line up is dm alonso/lass... rcm hamsik/young star shevchenko.. lcm kaka/ozil (i tried to belive in kaka).. rwing ronaldo/leon... lwing tevez/dimaria/... i sold granero and tried to get rid of benz.. coz i have hunter now (my problem in the 1st season is the finishing touch)... in 2nd season chances and the finishing is my problem..

Lol.. Going holiday in match is suicide action.. Nope, just let assitance take care the match prep only.. since the prep is so complicated than its look.. I try it already on another tactic.. and its work.. Wanna apply on yours but too lazy to start new game and of course change the tactic in sudden just as same as take vacation for the whole season..

Ofc i cant read 24 pages so excuse me if i mention smth already mentioned.

1. This is still a hypothesis. But if you got a really good dribbler for your striker. Try making him on 'support' that way he will go deeper and dribble the ball more
2. Play around with the tempo, width and defensive line. Who knows you might find a better result compared to this default settings

I was using a similar formation so my team was already familiar and i gave it a shot.
My striker has a 17 dribbling attribute and preferred move to come deep to get the ball. Along with his high flair, creativity and decent passing from a goal machine on my previous formation he's turned into an assist machine when set to complete forward and support..

Tempo alteration hasn't worked unless the weather calls for it. Quick is the way to go for my team.

When pulling the d line up both center backs need to be quick obviously while with your setting you can afford to have right CB a perfect marker but not so quick while the other sweeps up.

Changing the wingers to advanced playmakers can help in certain situations especially when striker has decent work rate.

Very good job mate and a really detailed tactic.

Edit: My little tip. I have 3 players that can play in AM R/L and Striker. Cycling them in the offense breaks down the tight defenses.

Yes pitch size is minimum at home. I think i figured out a bit about my scoring problem. Militi with pace 12 cant keep up with the wingers so couldnt get to the end of crosses/throughballs. Changed to Eto'o in the middle and Marko Marin / Sneijder playing AML, both with amazing assists. So the team scored more last couple games. On the road i tried shouting to play narrow, ball to flanks so far no loss

btw, 1 goal conceeded in 13 games, speaking of great defense. Ths for the great tac, will try on other teams and post results when season 's over

Yeah. I found going holiday to test tactics is simply irrelevant and rubbish.
Not only because of the randomness factor (players selection, changing tactics halfway to name the least) you can't find out what's wrong/right in the tactic.

Thanks for your testing and inputs. Yeah I found quick to be working better as well. I don't like slow football anyway.

Gonna test on that winger settings. Does that make them play deeper or more upfront?

and true. Swap positioning is awesome when you have the right mix of players. Certainly confuses the opponent.

Not anytime soon. Gotta work on this first.
Unless I got really stuck (almost there), and feel very frustated (already frustated) and wanted a break (thinking about this), I will probably put this project on hold and start doing the diamond one.

I've been using this tactic since the first release and tested it thoroughly using mostly Paris Saint-Germain, but this tactic is just too inconsistent for me. Most games I score 1 or 2 goals (havn't been able to score more than 2 goals) . My biggest win is 2-0 and my biggest loss is 0-2.

My team: Kadlec only managed to score 1 goal in 13 matches (!!). My topscorer is Sessegnon with 3 goals in 12 (1) matches. I tried to put Nené on the as an AMR (left-footed), but he doesn't play well on the right side.

I win about half the games I play whereas the other half is a tie between defeats and draws.

I've switched to the current version and it seems a little better, but not 'good'.

Any advice you could give me?

Basically no. You have to have the inside forwards. Some are able to work with 1 inside forwards and 1 winger, but the winger have to be really pacy and good to pull it off.

The settings on the inside forwards are specifically built for inside forwards only and very very different from that of winger's. Same goes to the build up plays.

When you have your players right, there will be more supply to the forward as well.

Kadlec isn't scoring because he isn't the best header forward so when you put wingers who crosses there will be no one who tap it in.

I used R.Madrid and arranged at least 15 friendlies, albeit letting my ***. manager taking the friendlies (which results in fringe players playing), i have gotten 0 win, lots of draws, minimal losses. THIS TACTIC NEEDS GELLING IN.

Really struggling now, is it me or is it this godforsaken game??? Noticed that with any team and the use of any tactic you start off with good results then it simmers down and you get a ton off draws and losses. Some times it doesn't make sense, take a look. The inconsistency is starting to **** me off!!

I set match preparation workload to Very High, during the preseason because the tactic was described as ackward. I tried using different midfielders and combinations of strikers.

I then re-started the game and played to 20 games, without getting sacked but basically the same result.
3 W 14 L 3 D.

The wins all came as a result of a 1 or 2 goal performance. Any time the other team scored 2 or more goals I lost or tied.

My tall CB standing at the far post has scored 6 in 5 matches so far,and scored 19 last season.
Is this setup the corner "cheat" of Fm11 or is my CB just that much better than the rest in the league?

Its just that much better. Far post is like the traditional way of scoring from corners in fm by now. Never a corner cheat, only the one at fm10 can be considered a corner cheat lol

Don't think that it's a cheat. That settings have been there since FM10 started. It's just a good corner setup and the right player is there.

oO) seriously red cards? I haven't been using hard tackling in v3 right? I've been using hard tackling in my Hercules save and everything seems okay. Try putting him on normal tackling.

Hmm weird Kadlec is easily my best performer so far. How's his morale. And have he been receiving through balls from the inside forwards? Most of my goals came from those and some from direct through balls from the playmaker
