Koflok's Goals Galore 2011

hey guys for some reason i'm not scoring goals.

Attached some screenshots and i even bought kadlec and played him before lukaku.

By the way, the 8 familiarity levels have all been maxed out already.

you need better wingers...and your player needs better motivation.team talks are very important(a)

Can you be a more specific? It's like you're asking me to fix a car without telling me whats wrong with it.

What do you see in the matches. Does the play does not link up, or CCC created but not scored, ball stuck in midfield or whatever.

I don't really have alot of CCC. I seem to have alot of shots but more than 70% are off target.

I have already bought the best wingers I can (or Liverpool) can attract that has good finishing and pace.

But I still fall to defeats to the likes of Man Utd at home and Chelsea,Everton,Wolves away.

I don't really watch my match in 2D or 3D, instead I use commentary only.

Also, what are some tweaks you would reccomend I do in situations like

1) being 1 goal down
2) Got a 1 goal lead and I just want to wind down the clock and park the bus for a 1-0 victory

I think its quite hard to get wingers with good finishing and the usual stats (Dribbling, Acceleration and Pace)

Of course Messi, C.Ronaldo, Robben, Mata are the good ones but they are pretty out of reach and I don't believe any teams with that sort of players would even need to use a super tactics like GoalsGalore.

The resulting product of those tweakings. Obviously you won't see the player instructions but boy.. this could really mean Goals Galore.

Not really. Don't diss in this thread, especially when you have no idea what's the context me and Gabe was talking about.

It's difficult to analyse the problem if you can't spot the problem itself by watching the match. When you're having a lot of shots in box but off target that might have to do with your striker's confidence among other things. There might be not room for pass. Or long shots. The probablity is too much I can't help you if you don't watch at least the 2D.

1 goal down - play wider make fullback more attacking overload.
1 goal up - play narrow, pull everyone back 1 position, set on counter mentality

This isn't a "I will go unbeaten for 100 games tactic",because there are none....
If you lose,you lose,no need to complain about it. It should,however,give you more wins than losses.
It's not like I am complaining because I am getting slaughtered in the champions league as Fredrikstad.
I accept that there are no wonder tactics,but this is a really good one that will give you a better chance.

you dont need classic winger....you can bought player with right attributes and re-training him for this position.i do it with my lower league team and have success...(attacker,cm,rm,lm,am)

This is a good example of a winger who fits this tactic perfectly.
And yes I know,he isn't world class,but my team isn't either...

People should do this more.

Usually people who have the right attributes are either naturally AMCs or play on the other wing. Retraining them to wings won't be too hard.

True! Either footed inside forwards is working really good. Because he's not one dimensional in attacking from cutting inside but can go wide and cross or shoot with the other foot on tight angles as well.

And I don't see how people are whining about world class wingers. I just said someone who can get the job done. My attributes on the OP is merely a rough help for which what type of player would work.

Excellent tactics dude. After playing for a couple of seasons with Juventus I found out this: If you play wider you will definately score more goals. In last seven matches I scored almost 30 goals. The next thing is philosophy which I set on very rigid is working for me much better then balanced. All in all great tactics

But some people here seem to only play top teams and demanding results,that's why I said it...

I got both of them for free in my third season,but Martin Vingaard plays for FC Copenhagen and Akabueze plays for Odd (strange name in english I know )

May I ask, when you put wider, how are the wingers performing? Do they cut inside and score too sometime? The striker's performance doesn't affected negatively as well right?

Yes v3 I'm using, and wingers are amazing. I bought Messi don't ask me how and he is beast scoring nad assisting almost every game 30 games 20 goals 13 assists. For my striker I have Babacar nad last season he played 25 games and scored 18 goals but he is still young 19 years. Your corner setup is magnificent. My defender Toledo played 36 games and scored amazing 16 times. This year he scored 4 out of 6 games in league. Keep up the good work

Haha thanks I'm proud of the corner setup. Not many really have found that so I'm one of the first ones to know this setup.

OKay so playing wide will do good on attacking while maintaining the danger of both your striker and wingers. Thanks. will do that tomorrow.
