Hmm, btw, koflok, how do you manage to beat barcelona away 3-2 using Hercules, sory i am not doubting your tactics, but I feel it's impossible to beat them at Camp Nou. I been losing them 3-0. 4-0 and keep restart and restart and been trying to tweak around. Just beat Altheico Bilbao 1-0 by Nelson Valdez late goal at 93min.As you beaten them 4-0.
Do you care about team talks??? like can explain briefley how u manage the team talks and in what situation do you sub in your players. Thanks.

Actually it is possible. It's not easy, but it's achievable. People might think I S/L or cheat or something but that's not how I play. And I didn't beat then 4-0. I won 3-2 - which is a very close game. The key is to manage your team - not just play the tactic.
Again for one thing it's not easy. Since a match against Barca was coming I save up some of my key players like Kadlec and Costa before the match so that he was in 100% condition - and they were.
My squad was pretty high on morale since we won the first match and some friendlies so that helps. And Messi was injured as well so that was a big boost. You can see that on the 2nd meeting, even playing at my pitch with Messi on I only manage to draw them.
Pre-match, I setup the OI carefully. Being a Barca fan I'm very familiar with how the play as well as how to keep their flow going. Hard tackling their core player is one of them.
As well as team talks. I used you you can win today if you want to try - that's the one I found most logically correct (I want to make them believe they can win but don't over-expect them). It motivate my players pretty well and my players played well.
So you can see that, just to beat Barca I did not just look at it tactically but from all aspect. This, I believe, is what sometimes people miss and that's why the results didn't came. Again and again I emphasize the other aspects outside tactic but people just won't give a **** and expect instant result from a super-tactic - which mine is certainly not.
Ok, so I thought I would play the first five leagues games with Barcelona to see just how spectacular this could be. I hate playing as a big team, so this is purely as an experiment. I used Koflok's version 3 tactic. Results were spectacular. Screenshots show results to date, David Villa's stats (which are unbelieveable), current league table and the stats for the Barcelona - Sevilla home game in the Super Cup 2nd leg. I include this last one to show just how unlucky I was in not winning the cup. My team had not fully blended with the new tactic, hence I lost the first match too.

I'm not sure, but I think I remember Koflok saying that Costa was transfer listed, not sure though!

I bought him at ~12m. I paid him over the next 48 months though. It was more expensive then yours but paying it gradually helps me to survive on the first season which is paid of by the league position prize money.
Kadlec is only 1m so not a lot of problem there.

Started with your v.3 and as everybody has pointed (more or less) away was a little dodgy.
Admittedly this is still early in the season, Match Prep only up to accomplished but I tweaked v.3 to an away tactic after 0-2 Sheff U and 0-2 Forest.
I'm no tactic expert and these very small tweaks have been suggested earlier in this thread. But I'm well pleased right now
Oh yes I changed my DC's to stopper and cover because if your not playing offside then you don't need to hold the line. If it works only time will tell.

Typical loser, but I like.. lol.
I also do that in certain games to test tactics that I will eventually settle upon. It is more generous than last time since there are "3 slots" now.
GGv3 is still giving me a mix feeling, especially on the defence side.
It does work with above average results, but like Arsenal - the real team, it may not be so reliable against bigger teams & it can be inconsistent at times.
When I don't get goals during my offensive spells... the chances of losing is sizeable as I find it prone to conceding.
So far Parkthelanev2 has cemented 1 of my 3 spots. Still searching for another 2 dragonballs lol. Keep up the good work guys, hahaha... sound like I'm some epic leecher.

Koflok, my 2 CB's tend to go forward every time they attack. I tried lower the defensive line but no use.

Maybe it has something to do with your player's PPM. Make sure you check first. Do they have like to get forward?

Instead of releasing a minor tweak of v3 tonight. I will release an 'away version' of v3 and a v4 for home.
That way I can kill two birds at once. 'Minimize' the inconsistency of v3 and release v4 to check whether it's any better than v3.

First of all I want to say that this tactic works great for me. Playing with Dortmund atm, just started but they seem to already have a perfect squad to play this tactic
I've pretty much searched through 33 pages for a possible answer on my question, but didn't find any.. You said multiple times that the wingers should 'cut inside', so its wise to play a left footed on the right flank and vice versa, but when I check their personal settings the 'cut inside' is not ticked on.. Shouldn't it be?
Oh ye and one more thing.. probably not the right topic to ask but when I go to match preparation and put the intensity on very high etc, its back to medium as soon as I click proceed, go to my squad or something else. Anyone got a solution for it?

Well done on an awesome tactic. I've been playing with Sporting Clube Portugal, and in 26 oficial matches lost 1, and drew 2. Beat Manchester City both home and away in the EURO cup and didnt lose to any rival.
I've been paying close attention to OI's, and Team Instructions. My tall DC is scoring like ****, and in the 26 matches conceded only 11 times, so pretty nice tactic, thanks a lot.

I've been using this tactics for some time and it brought me good results. But away games always seem too be a problem and small teams suprised me quite a lot, I mean when you have world class squad and bottom team beats you it can get frustrating so I decided to play around with my team instructions tweak it a bit. So finally having the world class squad I decided to go like lunatic on may opponents I mean attack all the way and it worked. Bellow are some screens for those who are interested of tweaking and please have in mind that I didn't test it on small teams, I play with Juve and I have great players. I lost only five games through hole season and in those games I played with my second team. You can see that Bayern defeated me in the second leg 4-0, but it's my fault, I underestimated them and fielded bunch of youngsters.

Whoa just beat Arsenal 5-2 at Emirates using Spurs with this tactic!I've noticed that changing the playmaker's running from deep,running with ball to often really makes difference!Modric scored 2 and assisted 2 .Also give shout 'work ball into box' all the time
