Dude, all credit to you hear.... im playing as west ham and i have used your tactic since day 1 and im 2nd in the premier league after 18 games...... i have done a few things differently but not changed the tactic... things like used shouts and read my match reports and analyise and also managed to sign some decent players but your tactic is really working for me and if i can finish top 4 with west ham then that would be great

few questions... Do you read your scout reports of matches and act accordingly or not?
is there any shouts that you use? i tend to use retain possiesion and pass to feet if im one or two nil up against a team thats better than me....
how long on average to you take before a match to tweak your tactic to the game you play?
also what things do you analyse before a game?

Im also into the league cup semis beating chelsea and man city along the way... i believe my self to be a good manager but give lots of credit to you for your time and your efforts in creating this tactic and believe you to be a good manager yourself..

Also I have my centre backs man mark who ever i am against centre forwards specific man.... and my same with my full backs and there wingers and most importantly of all denfensive midfielder on there attacking midfielder if they have one.

Hahaha thanks guys for the response again. Pretty much the results have been positive.

I'm just gonna answer some general questions..

The best version tactic? There's none. Each has its advantage over the other as well as the disadvantages.
v3.1 is the stablest so far while the away version is used.. well for away matches (duh?)
v4.1 (unreleased) has potential. I've been using it in my Online League and pwned big time

As for tweakings. I do not tend to change a lot of stuff in games. I almost change nothing in most games actually. I'm a Barca kind of manager - the one who expects to play its own football and not will change it under any opponents or circumstances - but let them adapt their tactic to us.

Usually what I do is play the default tactic from the start and change accordingly during in game. Like when you're having a hard time cracking down easy opponents use overload and wide, or when holding to a lead change to counter and narrow. And so on.

So yeah. You can say I don't tweak in matches, but I definitely tweak the tactic at the beginning when we apply it to a new team. We need to change some sliders just to fit the players. After you got the right settings - you can plug and play with minor tweak.

Having alot of success after I started using the opposition instructions, I forgot about them last time I was trying this out. Unbeaten with Arsenal after 25 or so games, only two draws away to Real Madrid and Man Utd. Just started a game with Scotland and won my first game away to Sweden 5-1.

Overall it's the best tactic I've tried so far.

Do you listen to your coaches in backroom advice when they tell you to individualy train players? And lastly , in match preperation if you are using 3.1 do you have the home and away tactic in there or just the tactic you are using in the next match? Thanks

after using your original tactic 2nd season with Tottenham and winning euro cup, premier league and FA cup i thought i would update you on the 3rd season with the new home/away tactics you uploaded....

Well, in short.... it went pretty **** good! I retained my Premiership title and also won the euro supercup! and on top of that i beat Man Utd 4-0 in the champions league final.

i would say the new versions are definitely an improvement on the original as i tend to see a lot more of the ball on away games which in turn creates more chances. I have had some problems with Dzeko not scoring 3rd season but my wingers have more than made up for his shortcomings.

i felt i was struggling a bit 6 months in and was working really hard to win games so on your advice i started to employ the OI and it had an instant impact.

only thing i have noticed is i can't seem to get the CM's playing consistently good football and often find i have to sub them due to playing below a 6.6. it might be i have the wrong people for the positions but i will keep tweaking and trying.....

A very nice tactic, it worked pretty well for me. I used it with Petrolul( a team from Romania second league which beat Liverpool 44 years ago i think) with good results. I got promovation in first season from first place and now im the third after 5 matches with just one loss against a big team from the championship. Btw, when does v4 come out? Did you manage to improve it?(H)(H)

Yes I do watch the games just for the fun of it. I do like to see how my players play which is why I made this attacking tactic. It's vital to have on extended or key - during the first few games so that you can see what tweaks (like individual's long shots etc) can be done to fit your team. After you got the tweak, you can just skip it if you want or just watch the key.

I don't do backroom advices.Yes I'm that lazy.

It's actually v0. But it has been updated twice (v0 - v3 - v3.1) to 3.satu which is an improved version of the original

Play him as advanced playmaker and put Xavi as central midf

v4 is coming out soon.. I can't promise when since I'm having some problems right now - unrelated to FM. But as soon as I get some testing it'll be release.

If you get that many CCC and not scoring, it probably has to do with your players ability or morale. Because tactics can only give the scoring opportunities, regarding converting them into goals is up to your player.

Hahaha i don't know... It just came to me like that.
Honest to God the finding what formation is 'best' so far is the hardest part, after that you just have to tweak accordingly to your style and match engine.

try v 3.1 because v4 is stilll in test, so you won't get good results till you tweak it a lot. v 3.1 is very good, and i play with it even away mathces with good results. Currently i'm first in Romanian

well, it's running at 100% now with me.

3th season halfway as the spurs,
16 games, 1 loss and 2 draws (41 goals made, 16 against). Won all groupmatches in the cl, still in the FA and leaguecup.

I cut down all players freedom and creativety. My striker was doing everything exept staying in the middle to kick balls in, and my wingers were ofter running around like headless chickens. Now the winger have no more freedom and somewhat above average creativety, crossing to the middle from the backline ... where either my left midfielder runs in or the striker or the opposite winger.
I got around average 10 shots on goal, the opponent has around the same, but more then half are long distance and the other part ain't on goal
