played 10 games in PL with arsenal using 3.1 home and away tactic, won all games, conceded 1 goal so far................fabregas as the playmakers has an average rating of 8.50 and has made 13 assists already;p
 
Hi!

Should I train my wingers to cut inside whenever possible as prefered move? :) Or what prefered move is good on wingers? (like placed shots on strikers?).

Should the midfielder who had the playmaker position also be assigned playmaker of the team? (if you understand what i mean, where you can chose corner takers, penalty takers etc.)

Hi.
I was just started to use this tactic. What's the role of the Inside Forwards? Is he suppose to cut in from outside and shoot or pass? I am using Bayern and noticed that Frank Ribery keep shooting at zero angle. I play him at the left side.
 
Some problems i encountered with the tactic:
I concede far too many penalties, a lot given away in defending set pieces
Most of the goals conceded is from defending set pieces whether it was a free kick or corner. Ryan Shawcross scores a hat trick against me from 3 corners still won 5-3 though:D

Overall great tactic get so many ccc's especially at home.
Im using home and away version btw
 
It's getting dead in here. Probably everyone who has something to say about the tactic has said anything.

Anyway if anyone still interested, an update version 5 will come. Very soon.
I probably need some feedback on v3.1 first before I release the v5. which for me, is a big big improvement.

In my online league I averagely score 4 goals/game and conceded less than 1.
 
Well yea.. whats left to say? The screenshots speak for themselves, and NO i'm NOT Barcelona ;)

Hi Koflok. Been using your tactic now for about a week, and so far it is going ok. I read earlier in the thread that you had started a game with Valencia. However, Valencia, do not, at least in my opinion, have any 'inverted wingers'. But what did you do, I can't really seem to get my way around it.
My formation:
Moya
Van der Wiel - Rami - Dealbert - Coentrao
Albelda/Vidal
Banega - Costa
Hernandez/Joaquin - Mata
Soldado

I think what I struggle the most with is how I should play my wingers, and also Soldado (or Aduriz).
I am winning a lot of my games, but none of my players, except Rami, play very good
Also it is rarely that I have more than 54 % in possession :S
But on the positive side Rami is really scoring goals on both corners and free-kicks, approx 12-13 goals per season

Hi Koflok, been using v 3.1 home and away tactic and just finished my first season with spurs, quite good results too. Won the Premier league, was very close though!!!!!

Also won the Europa League, got knocked out of Champions League in the qualifier before the group stage :(

Im not the best at tactics on fm so i pretty much plugged and played although i did make a few changes during games when things were not going my way. I seemed to struggle against the big clubs a bit, especially away. If you want me to upload my fixture list so you can see all my results then let me know! Thanks for the tactic!

Definately not getting bored with this tactic...best on FM11 so far...bring on V5 big man!!!

Tbh m8, you probably used it wrong, i've tried it with FC København, Barcelona, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United, QPR, Leeds and currently Gloucester. And it has been working wonders with all so far.
