Okay about this whole plug and play thing.
When I create a tactic, at the end I always make all this little changes so that it is applicable to all teams. You can say, making the tactic as 'general' as possible. (Really, despite the very specific player section on the 1st post, all you really need are just decent midfielders, pacy inside forwards and a decent speedy finisher).
Yes I did say that this is not a plug and play tactic, but true in reality that is why when you just plug it in and play you're (most likely) gonna get results.
Then again, as what fable said, the effectiveness is not gonna be at a maximum level. And that is the main problem, people are saying 'I don't win by big margin': that's because the tactic hasn't reached its maximum potential with your team.
That's why I always recommend to not only have the player that fits the tactic, but make the tactic fit your team by tweaking it. When I say 'tweak', I meant just make little changes to fit your team.
The easiest is long shots. It is one of the 'general changes' I mentioned earlier, I always make the long shots as minimum as possible - because not all teams have Lampard and even if they have one, the positions are random. If you have a good long shooter with 20 long shots 20 finishing, wouldn't it be a waste if you put the long shot on 'rarely' which the tactic is default. There are other stuffs as well which I shouldn't be mentioning.
Ok so let me end this long boring (and probably not gonna be read) post to this. I welcome users, people who just plug and play, the tactic is meant to be that way. But if you notice, I always refer you guys as 'tester', because that's what I'm looking for. One who enjoys the benefit from using the 'core ideas' of this tactic, but try things out by this and that and make things better to the tactic.
That is all..
