But i've questioned about situation when i make substitution during the game ? What i should told my player who is enter to the pitch ? :D

Well I make tactics. I'm no good at motivational thingy.
So you can look elsewhere for that.

Or just use whatever pep talk you PMed me earlier. That should work as well

MCL Run From Deep from Mixed to Often

Hey Koflok
Now i kinda confused, cause as far as i can see it's the MCR that has his "Run from deep" set at "mixed", while it's "rare" for MCL?!

Anyhow, I'm testing the BETA2 on Dortmund atm - will post some results and observations after half a season or so :)

Yes on BETA2 MCL RFD is 'rarely', but recently it's one of the tweaks I'm currently using on top the BETA2 in my own game.
It actually bring better result. At least for me. You can try it out as well.

Cool! Hopefully it'll do well for ya.
Will be waiting for your report.

Working pretty well! My most comfortable win with any team or formation on FM12 to date!!

Good on you bud. Dominant win! Awesome stuff
Hopefully it'll do well in the next games as well.

Any inputs / suggestions so far?

hello , i tried ur tactic with some v good results i can say :) .. but i got a question .. do u change anything vs better teams than urs ? and if u are wining , vs a better team , do u change ur tactic to def or counter ? or u never change it ?

There is stil room for improvent in ofansive and defansive must be improved...

I started a new game with Wolves. I brought in Wes Hoolahan, James McCarthy, Darron Gibson & Richard Dunne, whilst getting rid of a load of players whom I didn't think I needed. I also got Thiago and Jonathan Dos Santos on loan from Barcelona.

I just won my first game at home against Man City 4-2.

I'll let you know how it goes.

I noticed in some of the friendlies that I conceded a lot of the same goals:

a) a player running in on goal from just after the halfway line
b) from corners.

I'll see how it goes in the league.

Motivation seems to be a huge factor.

Is it just me thats conceded tonnes of goals with this formation? Home and away with villa it seems to concede atleast 2 or 3 goals a game and ive conceded in 90+ atleast 6 times and im only half way through the season.

So far no. I just keep attacking on default.

But as soon as you're winning. You can change to lower mentality.
Change attacking to control/standard/ or even defensive. And change the role of fullback from attacking to defend.
Also subs your player. Maybe a more defend minded

Yes since the tactic is using push up once the opposition breaks the offside trap you need speedy defender to catch him up.
Otherwise he will be free on goal. You can make the d-line deeper of you want, but it would make the attacking and pressing less effective.

ANd yes I've been trying to work with the corners, but doesn't seem to crack it so much right now.
Hopefully something in the future.
Although in BETA2, I've been using a defensive corner setup from a user here. It does seem better compared to it used to be.

Agree! Motivation is key!

Actually if you have the right players you shouldn't. I've been testing a lot and the players seems to be able to win balls high up the pitch so that opponents don't get to our area.

I would've assume you are conceded because opponent's break the offside trap. In that case you would need one speedy defender to cover for it. And having central defenders with good teamwork rate would help as well so that the offside trap is more organized and effective.

And if you are conceded in 80-90+ minutes, it mainly indicates that your player is tired.
You might want to consider substituting your tired player in 60 minute mark.
As well as changing the mentality of tactic to something bit more defensive than attacking so that you can contain when the opponent is going overload on you on the final minutes.

Hope this helps

I've got a little pictures of my games with Manchester City. I totally butcherd Chelsea.. At the moment posting this. I got a unlucky defeat against Bayern Munich away... 2 bad. Nigel de Jong got an early red card after we where 1-0 behind.. It stayed 1-0.. I got the best chanses but the didnt finished themm.. First match with no goals for me..

vs Chelsea 3-0

hi koflok your updated version is awesome. been responsible at the back and the top 3 are killers.

but i need some advice on MCL and MCR. how do you play Ramsey and Gotze together? Ramsey MCL with CM support role? and Gotze MCR with AP support role? will this chance the defensiveness without a DLP? Cheers m8!

Yea i thought as much, i dont have any speedy defenders at the moment so i think i may wait and use this tactic again when ive got the defence i want.

Yes

Which OI do you use ?

Currently none. You can do whatever you like tho.

Like tight mark + close down + tackle hard playmaker AMC.
Show onto weaker foot for players who are 'right only' or 'left only'
Show onto right foot to right sided inside forward and vice versa.
Close down long shooter.

It's all that simple really. Just by logic.

Never change the role. It won't do much since I've tweaked the player instruction.
It's better to tweak the instruction directly just to make sure.

I wouldn't really change the role as DLP is needed to hold up the ball. I put Arteta on DLP and Ramsey on AP.

Well if you dont have speedy defender you can try to make the d-line a little deeper with offside trap turned off.
However that won't be as good as if you can get someone with good pace and playing high push up.

Hello, I picked up on this tactic last week and have given it a full go on a new season. Started unemployed and got a job with Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal.

Not a great side and no money, so I wasn't able to really get the best players in the best spots - simply made do with what I had. Took some time to retrain left footed players on the right and vice versa, but can see the benefits of doing this!

I was impressed with the tactic thank you. Not expecting to pick up points against the big 3 sides (SLB, FCP & Sporting) I did however beat Braga 5-0 away and turned in some strong performances through the season finishing 5th and qualifying for the Europa League.

The tweaks you suggested above seemed to have paid dividends over the last 10 games of the season as my deep lying playmaker began to get more involved running with the ball. I've been trying to work out how to get the best of my fullbacks too, several people have pointed out they tend to get into great positions in space and then pass the ball away. I set them to cross from byline and they are now firing balls across at every opportunity when they get upfield.

Hopefully I'll pick up some money, or get a lucrative offer elsewhere but will keep testing the tactic out.
