Quick question Koflok.
Do you have a particular training schedule or do you leave it to your coaches?
Just from reading someone's previous post, my wingers also seem to be the main goalscorers. I have two games, a Man Utd/Tre Fiori game, and a Wolves game.
Nani & Valencia score most of my goals for United. My winger scores most for Tre Fiori.
My right winger scores most of my goals for Wolves (Wes Hoolahan).
Oh wow cool stuff man! I would love to have that actually.
Technically during open plays, since the tactic is narrow and I allowed the wingers to roam, with some tweaks as well, they are actually acting as a striker.
They interchange their 'role' as striker and wingers depending where the ball is. If it's on they're side of the field, they'll drop deep and cut inside. If it's on the opposite side, they will go to the center and acting as a second striker.
What kind of striker do you have? Rooney-esque who likes to drop deep seems to be filling the support striker role better and feed off the ball to wingers rather than scoring one themselves like Hulk did.
I don't use any training right now. Never been bothered much with those stuff

There are a lot of good training schemes around though.
Rubin 2-2 Lech, Lech 2-1 Milan after 2 games lolo amazing games, especially by my keeper Buric

btw did i mention that I scored 2nd goal in 90+2 min? ;d hehe gonna take a break now
LOL awesome stuff man. Hope your run continues in Europe.
Will be gaining a whole lotta money

Hi Koflok,
I had to register and post seen as thought your FM11 tactic helped me achieve 15 consecutive Premier Leagues and various other things.
Something I can bring to this thread is using your tactic on a lower league team. My team Huddersfield start in League 1 of the UK leagues and getting out of there is no problem.
Using your tactic (which I implemented in my 2nd season) got me a back to back promotion. I would say it was hardly "Goals Galore" more "Solid". Essentially I just kept going and somehow ended up 2nd in the championship.
In the premier league 1st season I bought a lot of players and ended up 9th. I took a lot of bad beats like you usually do (away at the top teams etc) but stuck with your tactic and it took me to 9th.
My last season which I finished last night I ended up 7th after spending much of the season in the top 3 and was top for a long time. I did win the League Cup however.
I think your tactic is excellent however nothing can cover up for average players so I know in maybe another season or 2 as I develop my team I should be winning the premier league. At the moment I have Yaya Sanogo up front (Loved him in FM11 so had to buy him again) so far 50 goals in 75 games and still 22 so I know he'll get better.
The way I have always worked with FM is to buy very young players (16/17/18 years old) and develop them into a incredible team.
So I guess here is my feedback so far for this tactic:
1) I do concede a lot of goals from corners, I have been trying to keep up with this thread but might have missed an updated corner routine.
2) Now that coachs and scouts say in what role players play best, do you think that its best to play players how the coachs say or stick to your tactic roles? For example, I use my MCL as a CM (Support) instead of DLP and I have Sanogo as a Poacher both because my coaches say thats how they play best.
Thanks for your great tactic. In a week or so I'm sure i'll be telling you I'm a championship winner.
Matt
Just a little tip, playing as major underdog. You can try to play more 'standard' mentality rather than attacking when going away against the big boys. That may (or may not) help. Some have suggested that and managed to ****** a result.
1. No you didn't miss anything because we simply didn't discuss a lot of that. I notice some corners from goals and yes I'm working on it. But there isn't really much to work on. There seems to be an issue of far post and near post corner in FM so yeah... I hope I'll find something. (Just know as I type this I just thought on something)
2. I would not change the role of the players. Really, role has pretty much been 'useless' in this tactic because I've changed a lot of player instructions that overrides the settings if you change the role. So even if you change the role, you would not see any significant difference. If you want you can try to see the player instruction of striker, and then change it to Poacher. No changes at all

Koflok i've question: In your tactic left winger should play right food and the right winger should play left food ( I know that this is not obviousI read first post ) But if my player have in attributes that he play good both legs so he can play as left winger ? Or he must "right food" I know that my english is terrible, but i hope that you understand.
Yes of course a both-legged player can play. They're the best kind!
Hey koflok! I see a lot of stuff has happened since you started out. I more or less stopped being here since I (for some reason) always seem to have the most success with my old FM11 tactic, but I'm crossing my fingers that yours are going to become better! I see you have two tactics now, and just wondering which tactic you would say to be the "best" overall (for me to start using). Also, have you managed to find some way to tighten it at the back? From what I remember, that was the biggest issue when this thread was 7 pages long ^^
Also, if you really want to, you could give me a quick rundown over what changes you have done since then? Only if you're not too busy and want to of course. Also, how is it faring with mid/low table teams now? Biggest problem I have with tactics here on Fmbase is that they all work fine with good teams, but just a select few work really well for all other levels of play. I never personally play a top table team, and I'm having troubles cracking the top 4 spot with my respective teams (Hannover, Gladbach, Wolves) in their respective leagues. I'm hoping you are the fix to this issue!
Well the 'best' overall for me is the new one, since it's basically an improvement tweaks over the old one.
To some yes it's tighten because of the change in defense system, for some it does some problem.
The biggest change I did was implement this sort of Barca-esque pressing and high defensive line.
Everyone is pressing from the front trying to win the ball back as quick as possible. This has resulted tons of goals from me. Forcing defender a mistake and launch a quick counter from the front.
However, due to the high defensive line there might be occassion where striker strung out of your offsie trap and through on goal.
You do need decent defender on this one. You can 'turn this off' by playing deep and untick the offside trap thugh if you have less confidence in your back.
0 to BETA 2
Team:
*Push up D-Line
*Offside trap : on
*Improved corners and free kicks : setting far post for DCR to head, put corner taker on 'Forward' duty.
*Better defense against set pieces
*Throw in tweaked
Goalkeeper:
*Defender distribution
Defenders + DMC
*Shorter passing style
*Higher pressing
Fullbacks
*Run From Deep : Often
*Run With Ball : Mixed
*Tackling : Easy
*Tight marking : On
Midfielders
*Higher pressing
Wingers
*More direct passing
(You can try to RWB Often as well)
Striker
*none
(You can try TTB to sometimes if you want)
There's a changelog I hope it helps.
Just an addition you can change
1. Wingers RWB to often
2. MCL RFD to mixed
3. Fullback crossing to often
4. Wingers crossing from to byline

I'm currently testing it with Leeds. I know it's not the most underdog team but nonetheless it's not a big team.

I did loan some players that fit with the tactic. Most notably Sturridge as striker. He's simply been brilliant.
I can proudly say that the current tactic's striker setting is brilliant.

These are some of the matches that were better..

So,
I'm not saying that this tactic is a wonder tactic that can win you games even in the LLM.
I just think it's not a matter of how 'top level' your team is but it's more of a finding the right fit of players and you should be fine.
There has been some users that playing it with lower league and got decent results as well.
