Not the best month with a 2-0-2 record. Only one game huge underdogs and they lost by a 3-0 shutout. Every other game they were slight favorites and did manage to pull out two wins. Still the two losses matches their total on the year, but still hold first place comfortably. Only 5 goals this month, still not bad for four games, but giving up 7 is a little scary after playing the top teams in the league and didn’t give up that many.

Coach Gary doesn’t like January. Bunch of games and without the lack of a bench and sometimes key players injured its usually not the best month for him and the team. This would be totally different this year. First only one key player missed the whole month while another one missed the last two games. Still despite the injuries, both were center backs, the team stormed ahead with its offense as they went perfect 7-0-0. They went back to giving up less than a goal a game (5 this month) and went on a tear on offense with 17 goals this month. With a perfect month they are now cruising and despite still not earning a playoff berth with a 23 point lead it looks like a promotion is now at hand.

With basically the league already wrapped up coach Gary would began to come out with different lineup for every game this month. While it didn’t make the best chemistry it is looking to see what players of the reserves will stay on the team next year, and who will be let go. Still had a manageable record with a 1-2-1 this previous month. The goals still came as they scored 7 goals and only gave up 5 this month.

Another four games, another four different lineups. While confidence isn’t high amongst the players they don’t mind how the coach does things since they keep winning. Another undefeated month with a 2-2-0 record. 9 goals scored this month while 7 were allowed. It looks as with the lineup changes that they might not hold the most goals for the league, but coach Gary doesn’t mind that since they won the league during this month.

Yeah i think this year I only been underdogs 5 times going into a game and huge underdogs just once maybe if at the most twice. I am not looking forward to the new year. A bunch of changes and first game we are huge underdogs. Its so depressing.

Looked like the players were already in their off-season break since they didn’t really try to play the full 90 minutes for each game. Can you blame them when they already score over 100 points for the season and easily have promotion heading in the final two months of the season. That was evident since they didn’t even win a game the final month going 0-2-2. They only managed 4 goals while giving up 6. Still the fans and the coach Gary didn’t care cause they are now seeing Wroughton finally making noise and are in the Coca Cola league.

Coach Gary thought it was the right time to place these teams in place. Strangely enough it comes the year where half the team gets let go. Either way its going to improve the team and the way they been playing that could mean straight promotions to the EPL, maybe?

In a shocking move coach Gary actually played half of his starters in pre-season. Which is why they won more than two games this year. With a 6-1-1 record it looks as if this team does have the firepower to keep up with the league. Maybe not an easy promotion like last year but make a push for advancement.

This is the reason why coach Gary stayed with Wroughton last off-season for this reason alone. If the Board doesn’t start injecting money in the club, or if coach Gary can’t earn promotions its going to be a long tenure for the coach which might give him more incentive for him to leave.
If you are wondering why Coach Gary is getting angry with the board and thinking about leaving Wroughton this basically sums it up for you. “You can’t do much with $7,000 from sponsorships in a year. Especially when the Blue Square Premier league generated a total of $1.4 million. Well you got to do with what you got. Hopefully since getting professional status we can now start making money.” said coach Gary despite losing half the team to wages, but did go on a spending spree this year for coaches and on one player.
Fans are mad, coach Gary is angry, and the Board is loving that they are making money on promotion. The fans adored Guillermo Zschusschen who has lead them to promotions for the last 4 years and now he isn’t on the team when they turn professional. Rumor had it that Guillermo enjoyed his team at a semi-professional team helping out the younger kids which was the reason why he didn’t resign with the club. Coach Gary has been quiet, but not happy. The Board said they offered a contract to him, but he was the one who turned it down. Some say it was to save money as they were offering him a record deal for Wroughton. As the speculation continues coach Gary got a younger similar player in him, but cost him $60,000 to get while Guillermo was free.

English Cup:

Didn’t save the picture for some reason. It was against Birmingham. Huge underdogs in this one so the coach decided to let everyone have a rest (starters) and would come out with reserves. Not a bad first half since we were down only 2-0, but gave up 5 goals in the second half. Maybe I should of started my starters.

A 1-1-2 month is not what we expected. Even the game I was suppose to lose heavily in we dominated for the only win. Sadly we are only eight points out of first after the first month and no injuries so things aren’t that bad. Still we see that we need a goalie and our new offensive players aren’t clicking yet. If they can do it fast we might have a great chance to sneak back up the table. Still 16 goals given up looks as if the weak defense we have (mostly goalie) is finally catching up. At least we did score 9 goals last month so the offense is still scoring.

Not a bad month of a 2-2-3 record. Saw some negatives, a bunch of positives, but mostly that we now have more than just one set lineup to use (unlike the previous 4 years). This month we scored as many goals as we allowed (10) so at least our defense is at least getting settled. Not the way we would like it, but with a goalie who looks like a backup for a professional team it looks to be a long season.

A month were we lost money. Guess people think we are going to finish mid standings like the predictions have us. Under-performing a little bit right now, but that might change if we can ether make some tournament runs or start pulling out some wins will help get people back into the stadium.

Thanks. Actually its the first year that I am not the favorite to win the league. First two months a little shocking to what I am use too, but at least it is challenging. First it was a fight to hold on to first place now its a fight to try to make the playoff. By the way I love the sig.

Don’t worry about us getting out shot 28-0 in this game. We only loss 2-0 and that was with only one starter (our goalie) in this game. Coach Gary wanted to rest his players so they can try to climb back into the standings. Its worked in the past why not again? Although first place promotion is already out of the minds of the fans.

Team is finally clicking as we had a winning record for the first time all this season with a 4-0-2 record. While we are climbing up the standings we are still not even in the top 10 yet so it looks as if promotion might be out of the question this year and the first time that coach Gary doesn’t win the league. Had more goals (10) than goals allowed (8) which shows the defense is finally is working together on the same page. Luckily no injuries to the defensive line, but lost some strikers which isn’t that bad since we do have 6 people who are good enough to play as strikers.

With games coming left and right coach Gary decided to do what he has done for the past couple of years. Forget the tournaments, bench his starters and let his bench play just to usually hold a playoff spot for the league. This year it looks as if first place is out of the question so he is trying to make a push for a playoff. With that cost comes a high price as they lose probably one of the easiest games of the last year or so. Fans are sad, but they have faith in their coach that he knows what he is doing.

With three games and a perfect record it looked as if a perfect record would be this month with a 2-0 lead at half. However a three goal second half would give them a loss as their record for the month would be 3-0-1. Still a great month after beating some tough opponents and scored 15 goals in just those four games. Defense stepped up huge as it only allowed 5 goals. Good news is that they are not in top half of the standings now.

Thanks. Yeah Sorry its been slowing down. I still play it everyday, but not as much. I am leaving out of town for work in like 2 1/2 weeks so everyone is trying to hang out with me before I go so its cutting into my FM time. Thanks for following and I will try to get to the EPL before the new game. Its not looking like I will get it the richest club, my stature is too low and the new game looks to be better for smaller clubs so I am ready for that one.

Wroughton goes on a tear. I though promotion was out of the question from winning the league and now with just a little over half way of the season we are now just 5 points out from first. Another great month with a 6-0-2 record. Again both ties were games we had the lead and then gave up the lead. Should of won both but had controversial goals in both games that were called offside’s (Always seems to be that way). Scoring 18 goals is great, especially when they lose their top two scorers this month, and only gave up 8 goals.

A very weird month. Went 3-1-1 which was great, but just weird. All three away games they were underdogs, two were huge underdogs, and they came out victorious in all three. The two home games they were huge favorites and they didn’t win either. Still after the month they scored 7 goals and only gave up 4. Even with the huge underdogs they still manage to outscore their opponents and did score more than one goal a game.

Thanks for following. I personally don't think it is the best story on here, mostly cause i get some PM's of "you have too many screens, you need pictures (player faces, stadiums, etc), add more funny stories, add more new articles" and what not. I was going to change up the format a bit, but with the new game coming out sooner than later I decided to hold off until next year. I am not angry at what some people have said, but if they are going to follow and read my story I rather cater the story around what they like.

The story will continue. Probably won't go all the way for me to be the richest club in the world which I planned, but will do my best. I will get to the EPL no matter what just don't know if I have enough time to play this before I leave for work and before the new game comes out.

With four games and split evenly for home and away they were on fire. At least for three games to go 3-0-1. In the three wins they scored two goals each and the loss they didn’t even score. With that they scored 6 goals while only giving up 3 to move up a stop in the standings to second place. Ward is showing that he is capable of playing in this league at goalie.

This was a little upsetting for coach Gary to lose this game. He actually did start 2 starters (a striker and a goalie) and one reserve player in this game. Huge favorites as well and they still lose. Still the fans are not that upset cause the team has done a 180 in the second half of the season and look to finish off the year in first place.

Three league games and a perfect month will still keep the team in second place with a 3-0-0. With two games on the road it looked tough, but they managed as they scored 5 goals and only conceded 1. Two were tough games as they only squeaked out it 1-0 victories. Still it looked like a bad year for this team but they have been dominating the league since December and now have the most wins in the league.

Great story :) Good to see a local team doing well (I'm from wilts too). I tried a game with Salisbury, but I don't think I'm cut out for lower leagues, certainly not to the level you are - straight promotions every year is insanely good!
