Transfers

Bas De Jong (Free):
Leicester signed the Dutch striker on a free, the deal was confirmed last season. De Jong scored 17 goals in 30 appearances for his former club AZ, The 21 year-old has great pace and dribbling skills.

Morten Gamst Pedersen (£4M):
Morten joined Leicester from relegated Blackburn for £4 million, the left winger will provide great width on the wide area. He has great crossing ability and has great experience in the Premier League and will do well for his new team.

Vincent Nogueira (£6M):
The French right winger joins from Ligue 1 FC Sochaux-Montbe, he performed well last season scoring 3 goals in 22 appearances. But with a £6M tag it is a gamble for the Leicester boss.

Niki Zimling (£3.7M):
Niki Zimling joins from Reggina who made no appearances for them. The centre mid is expected of great things from his new manager becoming the new captain at the club with good mental and technical attributes.

Roman Martinez (£2.9M):
Roman is a similar player to Zimling but with more experience with good mental and technical attributes again, i hope them two can form a good partnership in midfield.

Kieren Westwood (£1.7M):
Joined from rivals Coventry, which upset the Ricoh Arena. Kieren will become the new number one at the club ahead of Fabre. Westwood has got great reflexes and will do well for us this season.

Milos Maric (£1.5M):
The Serbian will provide cover for both right wing and right back he is a balanced player with good attributes the 29 year-old has been capped 9 times for his country.

Leicester boss reveals players he was close to signing:
I really wanted to sign another striker, it was really frustrating trying to sign one. Roman Pavlychenko rejected his contract to go on loan to Paris Saint-Germain which was really dissapointing, i did try and sign Brazillian striker Adriano but the asking price was too high. Things got desperate on the last day of the window, Manchester United striker Mame Biram Diouf but his work permit got turned down twice after i appealed.

Some good transfers there! Will be interesting to see how you get on and hopefully you do not struggle for goals with not being able to get another striker in. Keep the good work up :D
