Well first I would like to apologize about doing so many stories and then leaving them, yes I was bored witht them (apart from my birmingham and everton ones which crashed :S), but I'm in the year 2012 on this one so it shows I can stick with a game. So if you could avoid posting **** on this thread then that would be great thanks.:D

Anyway...

LEWIS EDWARDS- A SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Lewis Edwards is highly known for being a disciplined no nonsense manager. He started his career with Stoke City during the 2009/10 season, finishing tenth. He described this as the start of a revelation.
However it must have been a very short revelation, as he resigned from his position as Stoke manager 4 games into the 2010/11 season. It is suggested that this happened because of a few dodgy signings and a poor run of form.
Unemployment was only a short chapter in his career, as a couple of weeks later, Notts County had offered him the job. Notts County at the time were a struggling team in League 1, 18th after 10 games by the time he joined. The final outcome of the season was promotion for Notts County to the Championship, winning the two semi final legs against Leyton Orient 3-2 and 2-0, and then winning the final against Colchester 6-0.
Edwards built a fantastic team with Notts County, and towards the end of the Championship season, they were 4th. However, the pressure was getting to Edwards, and he resigned.
Liverpool then offered him a job. At the time, they were 15th in the league, with a possible finish between 18th and 14th. They had also reached the Europa League semi final against Napoli.
In the league, there wasn't a lot he could do, but managed to finish 14th. In the Europa League, there was some thrilling action.
In the first leg of the semi final, Liverpool lost 3-2 away to Napoli. So the pressure was on for Edwards to get to the final. Napoli took the lead in the second leg. However, Edwards's men never backed down, and went on to win that particular match 2-1. And because of the away goals rule, Liverpool were through to the final, against AC Milan.
Pato took the lead on the 10th minute for the Italians. However, steven Gerrard replied instantly, and scored on the 11th minute.
Half time came, and not much went on untill the 73rd minute, where Daniel pacheo scored. Then Gerrard scored again on the 76th minute, to secure a Europa League win for Liverpool.
According to Edwards, the state in which Rafa Benitez had left Liverpool in was pretty bad. Bad signings for lots of money, and a poor run in the league, it was no suprise that Liverpool finished 14th. It's worth taking note of that if you don't recognise any of the players, it is because either they were signed beforehand by Benitez, or they are youth players that have been promoted to the senior ranks. However, Edwards did sign one person, and that was Wellinton, a 25 year old striker for £16.5m.
The media has predicted a league finish of 9th.

Anyway, here's how the results have panned out so far (no pre-season, cba)

WEST BROM 1-3 LIVERPOOL (STANISLAS, TORRES, WELLINTON)
LIVERPOOL 2-1 FULHAM (GERRARD, TORRES)

BTW the layout will be different once it's properly up and rolling

EDWARDS GIVES INTERVIEW
THE SUN

How well do you think you're doing so far Lewis?
I think I'm doing reasonably well, I'm second of the league with a game in hand. However winning that would only make me joint top with Man Utd, but to go top I would have to win my game in hand at least 4-0.

Well your next game is in fact against Notts County, will there be any hard feelings?
No of course not, I really enjoyed my stay at the club, to have any hard feelings would just be wrong.

How desparate are you to win against them though?
Well I'm very enthusiastic, I would like to show them what they're missing out on, yet I'm not... what's the word? Lets just say I have no grudges like I said before.

Do you think you started a revelation with that club, with regards to how well you did in League 1 and The Championship with them?
Not really, I mean for a club that small with that much money, they were bound for success anyway, you know?

Do you think you did anything to influence their futre though?
Mmmm.... perhaps a little. But not much.

How well have you settled in Mersyside?
Very well thanks, it's generally a very nice place.

Do you feel like you have a good connection between the players and you?
Yeah we get on like, I have no hard feelings with anyone you know?

Can the same be said about your board and you?
Yeah they're very nice people, they have complete faith in my ability.

How well has Welliton settled into the area?
Well he suprised me a little bit, he's settled in very well, and he's getting some goals. But I think there's more to come. I don't think we've seen the best of him yet.

For the rest of the interview, go onto www.thesun.co.uk, avoid the page 3 girl section if you can ;), and click on the Liverpool badge under the sports column.

Kinda disappointed your last one ended again but I guess seeing as your in 2012 this should last. Good luck

Some decent results but you look kinda shaky at the back. Great signing in Wellinton btw

Yeah my defence is pretty ****, if I can get some decent funds for January then yeah it should be all sorted.

Btw mate, it's "scousser", not "scoussie" XD

NOTTS COUNTY 0-3 LIVERPOOL (STANISLAS, GERRARD PEN, JENSSEN)

A well deserved victory, the highlight of the match being Jenssen's stunning 25 yard striker, which hit both posts before bouncing in.
Strangely, the MOM was on the opposition team! Kasper Schmeikel got an 8.0, although he did perform very well.
This result has put me a point behind Man U with a game in hand!
Btw, once this month's over and done with, I'm changing the layout into monthly reviews. There's 3 more matches left, which I will do all in one post.

Can we have a screenshot of the squad and transfers you made ?

Can I have a screenshot of Stanislas mate? I wanna see how good he gets.

Can we have a screenshot of the squad and transfers you made ?

Yeah sure mate, as I said, the players you have never heard of playing for liverpool are either the one's that were signed before I came or youth players being promoted to the senior team.
And btw the top one in the transfers screen was signed by Benitez too

Shouldn't of used the Sun newspaper for your interviews.

Lol you're right XD

Stanislas is a bit meh.

Yeah his stats aren't that good but he plays well :)

GIRONDINS DE BORDEAUX 1-2 LIVERPOOL (PACHEO, AGGER PEN)

Our first half was good, scoring two goals. The funny thing is though, Agger, the one who scored our penalty, was the one that gave away our penalty! BTW this match was in the Europa League. Below are screenshots of the result and the Europa League table.
I am happy to accept any requests for other screenshots.

RIVAL MATCH TOMORROW!!!!!
Tomorrow in what should be a heated affair, hosts Liverpool entertain the Toffees at Anfield.
"The last time we played against each other, I think it was 2-1 to Everton," Edwards said, "So we really need to send them a message tomorrow.
Having beat a hard team midweek, I think we can come off that form and produce a very good result tomorrow."
