Newcastle finally got a point away from home, with a bore draw at Villa Park. Kevin Nolan could have stole the points late on, but missed a 5 yard chance.

Didn't play great, but held on for a point. Could have taken three, but sometimes it's not your day...

Nice signings there and some good results as well (H) but unlucky about the Carling cup exit though :(

You have done very well to get a point away to Villa mate. :)

Always find that Young and co. rip me apart.

Yeah, I didn't park the bus in the goal either, I never do against Chelsea, or any other team. The three man CM seems to work well:)

TOON UNLUCKY AS UNITED TAKE POINTS

Nemanja+Vidic.jpeg

Newcastle were extremely unlucky to lose tonight against a sub-par Manchester United. Yannick Djalo gave the hosts a lead in the first half. It took until just after the hour mark for United to reply, Wayne Rooney coolly slotted home a penalty. Nemanja Vidic then scored what proved to be the winner 2 minutes into injury time with a header from a Evra corner.

We should have won after taking the lead. Taylor marked Berbatov out of the game completely. Unfortunately, complacency kicked in, and United took over.

SHEARER CRITICIZES BADELJ FORM
5aczs68d9wcwqkbl8xiw.jpg

Alan Shearer today openly criticized the recent form of Croatian midfielder Milan Badelj. The schemer, who joined from NK Dinamo in the summer, has yet to reproduce his scintillating form since joining the Tyneside club. Since joining Newcastle, the midfielder has won his first two caps for his country, with two impressive performances in the red and white.

ALAN SHEARER
Milan has came to the club with a high reputation, and a huge amount of potential. Unfortunately, Milan has yet to really show his ability, and unless his current form improves, he is going to find it hard to break into the squad again.

Shearer has subsequently dropped the player from his side to face Arsenal, but the player remains optomistic he can recapture his form, and his place in the starting XI.

Liked this story so should continue following mate

Good Luck:)

Arsenal-Marouane-Chamakh_2481526.jpg

Marouane Chamakh scored two as Newcastle failed to maintain a goal head start for the second consecutive game. Jose Enrique's cross managed to find it way past a hapless Manuel Almunia after two minutes. Chamakh levelled after 12 minutes, and then pushed the Gunners in front after 42 minutes. Newcastle striker Adriano was the star whoever, with marvellous display st both ends for the Magpies, which only missed a goal.

We took the lead again, and failed to take at least a point from the game. I am pleased with Adriano's performance, which gives me a positive from this match.

Keep Going Lad. This Story Does Justice To Wor Famous Club ;)

Thanks a lot mate:). Sticking to my sensible attacking play, whether it is against AFC Telford or Arsenal. The way King Kev and co used to play it:)

CHELSEA WIN AS TOON GO FOUR WITHOUT WIN

Newcastle's poor run of four without a win continues, as they lost 2-0 to a average Chelsea side. Both goals were own-goals, and an injury to Adriano deepened their woes as they look to revive the form that has shown at times. Consigli kept the score down, and earned the Man of The Match award, which he said was pointless without points to show for their efforts.

Another defeat, but I am not too worried as of yet, as these are against the top teams. To get these games out of the way is a blessing, and hopefully after the next game, we can push towards that mid-table position.

**Just realised I never did an end of month summary for September, so I will do a double one at the end of October.**

TOON LOSE AGAIN AS SHEARER BLASTS UNDERACHIEVERS

Newcastle manager reacted angrily to the underachieving Toon Army, as they slumped to a fourth defeat in a row, and a sixth game without a win. Torres grabbed a brace, and Maxi Rodriguez added a goal to seal a 3-0 win for the Reds.

ALAN SHEARER
I am furious about the way the players have dropped form, and seem to give up before the game is over. I have called a team meeting to discuss the issues, and we now need to believe we can turn it around, and pick up wins quickly.

Another defeat. We should have had 2 or 3 goals, but poor finishing cost us deaerly in the end.
