Yup...couldn't be worse could it? Hopefully can get some decent results now.

To be fair, this makes the story interesting, to see if I can redeem myself and turn things around.

SEPTEMBER ROUNDUP

Second month at the club, let's see how I fared.

MATCHES

STOKE 2-0 NEWCASTLE
View attachment 99269

A poor start to the month. Didn't deserve to win tonight, and were outclassed.

NEWCASTLE 5-0 BIRMINGHAM (Guthrie[3], Jonas, Ibagaza)
View attachment 99270

Destroyed Birmingham. Guthrie was unstoppable, and deserved his hat-trick.

CARLING CUP
CHELSEA 2-0 NEWCASTLE
View attachment 99271

Again, beaten by a better side. Only the Carling Cup, so not too bad.

ASTON VILLA 0-0 NEWCASTLE
View attachment 99272

Ground out a draw against a solid Villa side. Could have won it, but a point is welcome.

OCTOBER ROUNDUP

MATCHES

NEWCASTLE 1-2 MANCHESTER UNITED (Yannick Djalo)
View attachment 99273

Unlucky not to get something, but it just isn't your day sometimes.

ARSENAL 2-1 NEWCASTLE (Jose Enrique)
View attachment 99274

Again, unlucky, but things are not going our way.

NEWCASTLE 0-2 CHELSEA
View attachment 99275

Didn't play well, and did not deserve to win.

LIVERPOOL 3-0 NEWCASTLE
View attachment 99276

Lacklustre performance, didn't get out of the blocks, and didn't get close to them.

LEAGUE TABLE
View attachment 99277

Sitting too close to the bottom for my liking, Hopefully can move up the table now we have the hard games out of the way.

PLAYERS
View attachment 99278

Only a couple of players played well this month, which cost us dearly.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH
View attachment 99279

There could only be one. Andrea kept us in some games, and stopped us being embarrassed in others. Starting to prove himself as a top keeper.

Newcastle's season appeared to be back on track as they picked apart a poor Blackburn Rovers side. A brace from Yannick Djalo and Andy Carroll set Newcastle on their way, with a goal from the superb Jonas capping the night.

We were superb in every area tonight. Deserved the three points, after a problematic few weeks.

WOLVES PACK LOSE OUT TO THE MAGPIES

Newcastle United continued their resurgence with a thrilling 4-3 win over Wolves. The ever impressive Jonas set them on their way, before Kevin Doyle struck to equalize. Segundo Castillo put Wolves in front before half time. Fernando Arce bagged his first Newcastle goal from 25 yards, before Adriano struck from close range to pick up his first for the club. Karl Henry looked to have grabbed a point late into the second half, before Kevin Nolan popped up with the last kick of the game to steal the points.

A very close shave, luckily the team pulled through in the end. Complacency had almost cost us again.

SHEARER MAY LOOK TO RESHUFFLE DURING JANUARY

Alan Shearer last night sparked rumours that a reshuffle of the squad may be in effect, after the side stuttered in the Premier League. The main players linked with outgoing moves are Ariel Ibagaza, Fernando Arce, and Nicolas Otamendi. Otamendi is expected to be farmed out on loan, whilst the other two could be making permanent moves away.

ALAN SHEARER
If things don't change on the pitch, it's highly likely that things will change off the pitch. Certain players haven't settled in well, but as of yet, nothing is certain.

your story is class mate :)

Cheers mate. I always say if you are going to do a story, you might as well do it properly.

Bitter blow again in February but look on the bright side;

You can make some quality changes in the transfer window and they'll have time to gel. ^^)

ADRIANO 'CAN'T SETTLE ON TYNESIDE'
Adriano_288547c.jpg

Samba star Adriano announced today that he is struggling to settle in on Tyneside. The forward, who has one goal since joining the club, has told reporters that he would love to stay, but is finding life difficult.

ADRIANO
I have been finding life hard recently. I can't settle properly, which is affecting my performances. I have spoken to the manager, and he has been brilliant in trying to help me.

Shearer is expected to give the player a little time to try and sort himself out, but history shows that the player finds it difficult to settle in one area.

Just read through the whole story mate, a cracking read. Keep it up! And what's the skin name? Big fan of it ;)

Ah, Stu, let Adriano go and buy someone English! :)

Get some cash for him and I am sure you'll find a nice English striker to partner the mighty Djalo.
