Figo who dropped out of the Fifa Presidential campaign has told reporters that he still has huge ambitons in football and to own a club was one of these ambitions.

Figo who played for Sporting CP during his playing days has also stated that Benfica were the most logical side to buy due to financial constraints and value for money.

Figo has stated that he intends to build his side, use youth and seek out a chance to show the world just what his team can do. Touted as one of the weakest in the new league structure. Figo has vowed that his team will NOT be relegated and that they will fight for every ball, in every match.

Rui Vitoria is staying on as manager at Benfica.

Looking for decent players to loan. Please PM me for details.

Just one question. For loans, are we allowed to loan whatever players we want from lower divisions, or only loan listed players (or players of a certain squad status)

It would make more sense if you could loan only loan-listed players yes :)

BREAKING NEWS OUT OF NEWS OUT OF MILAN CONFIRMS THE SAIL OF INTER MILAN

Shocking news comes out of the San Siro as inter Milan's chairman Erick Thorir has sold the club to non other than Paulo Maldini!

View attachment 156890

The decision to sell the club is unknown but the new owner is sure to spark uproar within the inter. Maldini is a part of syndicate but he is the primary share holder. In a press conference today he was asked whether he would not be very involved in the club and maybe plotting to destroy the club being a former A.C Milan player. Maldini laughed it off and said "there both Milan clubs are they not?'' "I just want to bring success back to the city"

Manuel Pellegrini comes to the Boss office.

MP Oh so you are expanding my office, that's very nice of you.
B What are you doing here?
MP I was going to work on the tactic for this season.
B So you have a new team already? You still can't keep your office.
MP What?
B Didn't someone tell you that you are sacked?
MP no?!?!
B You are and I don't want you to come back here. BTW Antonio Conte is your replacement.

Juve still looking to do business!

The only player I'm actively looking to sell is Hernanes. He's a good, experienced CAM. He would be an easy starter for any of the lower teams, and a good backup for any team in the league. Looking to sell for £10m, but price is negotiable!

I am willing to listen to offers on any players though, with the exceptions of Pogba, Morata and Dybala.

Seeing as none of the players transfer-listed earlier by PSG got no offers, I'm now open to negotiations for any player except Di Maria, Verratti, Marquinhos and Matuidi! Got a lot of great players who can bring some huge quality to a team so message me with any offers you have!

THE TRANSFER WINDOW HAS NOW CLOSED!
Total amount spent: 243.25 million

BIGGEST TRANSFERS:

1. Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli to PSG - 34.35 million (170 000 a week)

View attachment 156714
The Argentinian striker comes in as a backup for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who gets closer and closer to retirement but is still determined to do well for his club in the World League.

2. Christian Eriksen from Tottenham to Juventus - 25.5 million (150 000 a week)

View attachment 156709
Juventus were alone in the chase for the Danish midfielder and he comes in to enrich a midfield already full of talent with Marchisio (currently injured), Paul Pogba and others.

3. Joao Moutinho from AS Monaco to Manchester City - 24 million (70 000 a week)

View attachment 156708
An unexpected move from the Citizens who ****** up the Portuguese midfielder to add to their talent in midfield alongside De Bruyne, Yaya Toure and Fernandinho.

4. Carlos Tevez from Boca Juniors to Atletico Madrid - 18 million (140 000 a week)

View attachment 156707
The veteran and talented striker comes in to partner Vietto up front for Atletico to replace Fernando Torres, who's loan was cancelled earlier this season.

5. Aymeric Laporte from Athletic Bilbao to Juventus - 16.5 million (100 000 a week)

View attachment 156706

The French wonderkid was scouted by the likes of Chelsea, Bayern and Juventus but in the end it came down to the best contract offer which clearly belonged to the Italian side and the youngster will make a great defense partner alongside Chiellini.

BIGGEST SPENDERS

1. PSG - 60.6 million

View attachment 1046188

The French club spent most of their budget on Higuain but also benefitted from the arrivals of Thomas Lemar from Monaco for 12.8 million, Richedly Bazoer from Ajax for 7.2 million and Zivkovic from Partizan for 6.25 million who accepted PSG's offer due to their higher wages (15 000 a week) despite being tracked by other European clubs.

2. Atletico Madrid - 46 million

View attachment 156705
The Spanish side clearly wanted to assert themselves as one of the favourites for the World League Premiership title as they spent 18 million on Carlos Tevez from Boca, 14.25 million on Denis Suarez from Villareal and 13.75 million on Bernardo Silva from Monaco. The Atletico chairman clearly wanted to bring in both youth and experience into his side ahead of the new season.

3. Juventus - 41 million

View attachment 1046193
Just two big arrivals for the Italian club which could prove to be key signings ahead of their opening game against rivals AC Milan and definitely two signings for the future as well.

POTENTIAL SIGNINGS/FLOPS OF THE SEASON

Some really promising players coming in the Premiership this season, most notably Thiago Maia, Lemar, Lincoln, Bazoer and Suarez, who all have the potential to grow and become fantastic signings for their side and prove the managers why they spent that amount of money on them. Pulisic, moving from Dortmund to Liverpool, is also an exciting prospect.

View attachment 156699
USA youngster Pulisic, who signed for Liverpool for almost 8 million this summer, is one of the brightest young prospects in the league

Other deals looked a bit more dodgy, such as Rakitskyi who would make a huge jump from a decent European side to one of the best teams in the world and Mignolet, who's never had the reputation of being the greatest keeper around. Tiago moving to Benfica for just one million also does not seem to be the biggest transfer ever and there are questions being asked around about whether or not he can keep up with the quality in the league. Iheanacho, a youngster from Manchester City now at Liverpool, also never had the chance to prove himself at his former club and it could be a big jump for the promising Nigerian striker.

View attachment 156698

Veteran midfielder Tiago could not be able to handle the big jump and flop this season, up to him to prove us wrong!

Let me all know what you think of this format for an end of transfer window summary. I will now add another 24 hours as a little extra transfer window to allow chairmen to make last ditch transfers and you may post about your own clubs' transfers if you wish.

ALSO, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT YOUR MANAGER MIGHT HAVE MADE TRANSFERS IN GAME THAT I CAN'T CONTROL SO WHEN THE FIRST UPDATE COMES, DON'T BE SURPRISED IF THERE ARE PLAYERS YOU DIDN'T WANT TO TRANSFER.

Znik signing Tevez... here we go again :/

Well, it's one **** of an improvement over Torres hands down.

It's been quite a shocking transfer window so far, Iheanacho for only 200k, neither Real Madrid nor Man U not spending anything at all, Mignolet to Sevilla... This will be interesting to follow that's for sure.
