Linecoigne's FIFA World League - a Chairman game

Fantastic Transfer summary Linecoige!! Glad to have got Lincoln! Great purchase! Update tomorrow. Now to find more gems! Did Correa's loan deal go through for me from Atletico?

You did get him yes, sorry for not including it in the post! :)

There were a couple of good matchups in this opening game of the FIFA World League Premiership with the most exciting game probably being Manchester United's 2-0 victory over Real Madrid which saw Cristiano Ronaldo get sent off at Old Trafford. Higuain and Tevez both started their new careers well by grabbing a goal each whilst Suarez and Dybala were the first 2 players to score a brace in the competition.

Another solid week in the World League Premiership with Arsenal grabbing the competition's biggest ever victory whilst Juventus and PSG just about edged their game against Corinthians and Chelsea respectively. The biggest came with Valencia's win over Manchester United whilst Porto also managed to beat Liverpool.

So after 2 games, here's what the league table looks like:

An exciting start to the World League Premiership with some big shocks for sure with Chelsea and Liverpool in the relegation zone and Real Madrid standing in the second half of the table whilst Valencia are 5th! Juventus and Barcelona are currently looking like the strongest teams in the league and could end up fighting it out for the title later on in the season if they manage to keep that form.

Chairmen may start posting their monthly updates for their specific clubs. Also, would you want me to show you the results of the World League Cup already (in September, there are way too many teams still in the competition for me to take screenshots that will be visible)? Let me all know what you think of this format for monthly updates and when I should release the update for September!

Great update! 2 draws... oh well, at least we haven't lost yet! :P

I think this style of updating is very good, you do not have to post the cup results yet, not for my sake at least. So leave it until it becomes easier to post the results.

Great! Thank you :) how often would you want a new update by the way?

In order for us to have time to update, I'd say about twice a week or so? If you have the time. Some players might not update every month, but writing a short update every 2 months, should be okay :), and that will be to write something once per week for us, shouldn't be too tough!

In order to make sure you can keep a steady pace, I'd say to not set yourself time limits that you struggle to match at least, even though we all love updates :D

I'd definitely be able to update a bit more than that, at least 3 times a week, but if it's better to have just 2 a week so that you guys can have time to update, I can do that too :)

Benfica have made somewhat of a splash in the Transfer Window. Not the richest club by far in the Fifa World League but hoping to make some inspired signings. New club owner Luis Figo has given manager Rui Vitoria carte blanche to sign whoever he wants as long as he stays with the clubs financial limitations. Benfica will be hoping for quality over quantity and will look to the loan market aswell.

Good news for Benfica fans as the club have managed to sign Tiago from Atletico Madrid for a measley £1,000,000. The ageing Portuguese may not have time on his side when it comes to his playing days but the skill he still displays will be viatal to the club. With so many gems emerging too within the club his experience will be vital to the next generation of Benfica starlets.

Angel Correa also join Benfica from Atletico but this deal is only on a loan basis. The young Argentinian will provide depth for the squad and has all the qualities to make Benfica a stronger team.

Lastly Lincoln joins from Brazillian side Gremio on a £3,200,000 deal. The young starlet was being monitored by many clubs within the league but it was Benfica who acted fastest and offered the better financial package for him. Lincoln will be thrown straight into the side and will be a mainstay for years to come.

Alright great :) next update will come out in a day or two then but I unfortunately lost the save for September so it'll be a 2-in-1 update with September and October :)

Is the another Transfer Window. I thought there was a 24 hour extension.

Quick heads up, the additional 24-hour transfer window has now ended!
The only deal that was made is Jesus Navas moving to Inter Milan for 5 million :)

September-October update out later today, you can then write your club's updates for the first 3 months :)
