united are nothing without rooney - facts

I dont think that is the case. We where brilliant against Bayern for 38minutes. The best we have played all season. That was with a half fit rooney who had no input on the game at all. We played with Pace, Power abd high pressure, if we would of done that for 10 minutes agianst blackburn today we would of put them away easily. just we didnt, we almost played at a stroll expecting them to just let us through.

For Fulham it is great, but for a club like Liverpool, the 2nd biggest in England, they need to be winning leagues.

Aye, but a couple of decades of gross ineptitude at board room level will always make things tough. Still silverware is silverware so Europa League will do in the absence of anything else. Was Wenger's last trophy the FA Cup five years ago?
