Andi Weimann scored an absolute screamer to open the scoring in this game.
It was a hard game to end the season on and gave us a good test to prepare
us for the Everton FA Cup Final.

We spent the entire second half with 10 men as Jacobs got himself sent
off but a goal winning challenge. I'd normally be critical of Jacob but this
is a rival, in the FA Cup... 10 men is better than 0-1 down. Origi put us
ahead with a massive goal.

I had my head in my hands on 87 minutes when I thought Obiang
had forced extra time but when Manquillo banged in our second
goal; his first since 2015.

89 minutes on the clock against your local rivals in the FA Cup,
Down to 10 men and starring at extra time. He's just made himself
a Kop hero.

League through Winning the UEFA Europa League.

Great FA Cup win there, even better as it's against the Toffees! Interesting to see the Europa League Final played in Sunderland..Bit of an odd choice! Looks like United were pretty dominant in the league... (Sadly).

Aye, It was a great match and made sweeter by beating Everton. I'm used to seeing the Europa league pop up in strange places :P

I've made a daring decision here to sell Origi to Manchester City for £50M; with £15M
due after 10 international apperences... which comed come soon on account of the World Cup :P

The primary motivation to accept this deal was the fantastic form of Jerome Sinclair last season.
In 45 appearances, Sinclair netter 33 time for Dinamo as he went on to win the Croatian League Title.

Alan Simpson put made 34 appearances for reading, scoring 12 goals to also give me
food for thought. Both English Strikers are goal scorers and could be very valuable
up front and the £65M for Origi gives me both financial comfort and more room to develop
these two.

If it wasn't already obvious, I'm a coach that adores technical, attacking football and this signing gives us a sensational Playmaker who can create somethign from nothign. I don't know why he was listed at United
but at only £15M for the 30 year old, I'll get at least 3 seaosn out of the world class Spainiard.
