Liverpool F.C. The 5 Year Plan.

I thought he might of progressed better but I guess he has been out on loan a lot.

Aye, I agree with you. I was expecting more out of him but he's delivering on the pitch so why am I to argue :P
When he came back from loan, I had him specifically working on his composure which has been working well considering the goals he's scored. He's still only 22 so plenty of time yet.

Please could you upload your transfer history please or if you don't want to upload it, could you send it to me personally? Just want to look at what other people have done on Liverpool saves.

Thanks and a great read, looking forward to the update.

A wild and varied month today that saw 31 goals.
There was a major casualty however!

View attachment 313327
A nervous display but our first half goals got us over the line.

good solid win! We keep our hopes in the FA Cup alive

View attachment 313323
Bitterly disappointed with the result but we played as well as we could have. United
are absolutely on fire right now and the better team came out on top.

View attachment 313321
Absolutely trounced them. We took the lead in the 4th minute and we
were firmly on top of the tie from that moment on.

View attachment 313320
Incredibly flattering scoreline against the bottom of the table side.
title chasers vs relegation favorites.

View attachment 313326View attachment 313319
I hate playing stoke since they always field very tight squads with
good defensive positioning but we controlled this tie and got the gaols.
Grateful for the clean sheet as Scuffet has not been lucky enough to
keep one in recent games.

Daniel Sturridge was running the show and on a hat-trick when a bad tackle
forced him of the pitch. I was right to be worried as scans put him out for 3 months
so he might be out for the rest of the season.

View attachment 313316
View attachment 313315
He'll be a huge loss as he's been lethal this season: 18 goals in 23 appearances.

View attachment 313312View attachment 313311
Losses to West Brom, Stoke and Norwich are proving costly as united have now
taken all 6 points form us in the league campaign. We have to hope for them to
drop points during the run in.

View attachment 313326
View attachment 313308
We got a fairly favorable draw in the 5rh round. At
home to Leicester is a winnable game.

View attachment 313306View attachment 313305
With Sturridge out for the foreseeable future, Origi will relish the
Champions League tie with his formar club Lille.

A solid month there, unlucky against Man United though but some big results there!

If you could manage to push on for the title again it would be great! Lille is a good draw in the champions league too!

This is fantastic stuff. Been a silent reader for awhile now and just decided to make an account. Keep up the good work!

Aye, 4-3 is always hard to take when it's a last minute goal. Still, I felt we played well and it was something to build on.
You learn more about your team from losses than you do from winning.

If you could manage to push on for the title again it would be great! Lille is a good draw in the champions league too!

I'm expecting a second place finish since United are playing like a team possessed right now. I'm winning games left right and center but they still have a two game cushion over me. It's going to be very hard to catch them.

Cheers my friend. Glad to have your on board! :)

Being a silent reader for a good month now, and just signed up to let you know this is brilliant! Being a LFC fan its a very pleasant thing to read and thoroughly enjoyable! Cheers mate. Always nice to know people are enjoying this story.
Good luck in your save. I do enjoy a good LLM game but they can be tedious for me sometimes.

Our long awaited Champions League ties comes at the end o this months
but not before we take on Chelsea at home to maintain pressure on United
at the top of the table.

Simone Scuffet pulled up with an injury just before this game so I game Khune his
first appearance of the season. Khune gave Mignolet great competition for the no.1
jersey last year but Scuffet's fantastic form has seen him firmly establish himself as the
clubs no.1

View attachment 312181
Chelsea are always a tough game but we've lost quite a few games this season so it's tough
to take. We only managed 3 shots on target int he 90 minutes and their game
management was excellent, keeping us out and away from goal scoring opertunities
for long periods of the game.

View attachment 312180
View attachment 312179
Frustrating to only come away form this game with a point. We dominated the
possession and chances but credit has to go to Crystal Palace for taking their
chance int he 5th minutes. Without that penalty, it would have been a very
different game.

View attachment 312178View attachment 312177
A nice solid win. Grealish made it a tense finish but we were in control of the game
for most of the action. Leicester had a lot of possession but they did nothing with
and that ultimately contributed to the result.

View attachment 312176
The draw for the 6th round was not kind as we renew our rivalry with defending League and FA
cup champions Manchester United. I do feel that we are two evenly matched sides and this is a
winnable game.

A nice solid win here. No complaints about a 0-3win.

View attachment 312173View attachment 312171
Quite embarrassed by this loss. I felt we should have gotten something out of this game
but it really came down to Lille taking their few chances and we squandered ours! We've
left ourselves with a mammoth task though as a 3 goals are required in France to have
any chance of wining this tie.

United's sensational season continues as they extend their lead to 6 points with 2 games
in hand. With only 10 games left int eh season, I've already resigned to a 2nd place finish.
They're not loosing games and we've already lost 7 so the damage has already been done.
City and Chelsea are hot on my heels sos I need to ensure we stay at the top of our
game to retain 2nd place and finish above the chasing pack.

Okay, let me break from character for a moment to say **** YES!!!!
I'm after having a sensation a youth intake and got 4 players that I'm
very excited about developing!

I accidentally terminated Jenkins Trail Contract when I was offering
him a full time deal so He won't join until the end of the season but
this Welsh Right back should be ready to take over once Flanagan
retires; if not sooner.

View attachment 312154View attachment 312153

Peter Garlick has the Flair and Dribbling to be a menace at underage level
so his development should be pleasing. Solid physical attributes and with 15
determination, I don't have much tutoring to do to bring him up that ideal 18+

View attachment 312152View attachment 312151

Adam Kearney is a player that I feel will take a lot of work but he could
be my answer to replacing Henderson's dynamism in midfield. Excellent Work-rate
and a solid starting set of mental stats means that with good tutoring and attention
to his development, I could have a world class English Center Mid with us for years to come.

View attachment 312150View attachment 312149

At a first glance, Jens Jepsons Potential would not excite but considering
his starting stats as well as excellent Teamwork and Work-Rate, This young Dane
could be a fantastic Center Back for us us. 6'4" with good mental Stats, I see him
being a great rotation option as he can play all positions in the back line.

March was a roller-coaster month for Liverpool fans. We suffered both heartache and
extasey. Out of one competition but took a huge step towards winning another. Keep

This was just one of those games where we couldn't make it count. We absolutly
dominated and put a massive 16 shots on target but all credit to Butland, he was
equal to all of them.

View attachment 312130View attachment 312128With United carving out an unassailable lead at the top of the table, I
wanted to deny them an FA cup to go along with the Title that was
becoming only a matter of time. We have a good record against UNited
so I was confident of a result.

View attachment 312129
We were 0-5 up at half time. We caused them a ****-ton of problems going forward and Coutinho
scored a hat-trick of penalties. I was disappointed with our laps in concentration as United made
the scoreline respectable int he last 10 minutes but I was already celebrating at half time.

View attachment 312127
View attachment 312126
I guess I shouldn't be too disappointed with a scoreless draw. We only
had 40% possession but a clean sheet and a draw away at City are
two things not to be laughed at.

Out of the Champions League. Our 2 year absence only saw us get to the
1st Knockout Round which has to go down as a disappointment but this
dose give us a chance to focus on securing 2nd place and go all out for
our remaining FA Cup Fixtures.

A simply amazing win against a good Arsenal side. I was surprised we put 3 past them
but this result goes a long way in securing our league position.

United have played their two games in hand and sit a comfortable 12pts on
top of myself in second place. Chelsea are breading down my neck only
3pts behind me with a game in hand though they need to win by 3 goals to
overtake us on Goal difference due to our superior "Goals For"

Well United have the title by looks of things, lets hope you can secure 2nd! unlucky in the Champions League

Aye.It's driving me nuts since I've had a pretty decent season myself. Avoided drawing and winning a lot of games but you can't loose as many as I am and still win the title. English football isn't that forgiving.

View attachment 311893
Tim Clifford came back form his loan spell and made an inkstand impact
garbing the opening goal in this 4-1 win. I was disappointed to loose
the clean sheet at the end though.

View attachment 311885
Sturridge makes a scoring return to first team football after bing out for 3 months
with a broken ankle.

View attachment 311884View attachment 311880
This was a sensational game with both keepers on fire denying so many chances.
We took a second half lead through Daniel Sturridge only for Schurrle to force extra
time. Then with the final kick of the ball, Howedez turned in a 120th minutes corner
to send the Reds to Wembley.

A clean sheet but 2 points dropped. Both positives and negatives
to be found in this result.

I think I would have cracked up had we lost this game. We dominated and created many
chances on goal but credit to Krul. You need a world class Goalkeeper to survive in the
Premier league and with Krul in goal, it's no surprise Newcastle have been a mainstay.
