Hopefully they will play a 4-3-3, with Kuyt and Downing on the wings and Carroll down the middle. Adam, Lucas and Henderson in the middle of the park.

My read: Reina, Kelly, Carragher, Agger, F. Aurelio, Lucas, Adam, Downing,Maxi,Carroll,Kuyt.

Subs: Doni, Soto,Enrique,Spearing Aquilani, Henderson, Suarez.

But really it's a lottery - Raul didn't even make the bench !

Sunderland and Liverpool both have a whole crop of new players, so I think Liverpool will dominate and Sunderland get an opener on the break. Then Suarez gets a double, the second set up by Jordan Henderrson.
