Indeed, looked like our fitness collapsed at half time; understandable for Suarez and Lucas after the Copa, but all the others should've been fine.

Enrique was brilliant by the way, so good in close control down the sides, put a dangerous cross or two in; looks really good. But Kelly should've started over Flanno.

Adam was very good, early days but a good start against the nay-sayers.

Yeah actually, even throughout the **** second half, if anyone looked like doing something it was him. Put some good corners in throughout, but there wasn't enough movement for him.

Noticed Liverpool were very static, make the runs and he will usually find you. Not a world beater, but still a good player

Quality. Obviously continuing his great form from last season. He'll live up to the price tag

after watching this game on MoTD i will say Anfeild was electric ! and Downing's shot was class.

The atmosphere was amazing. Even before the game, the noise was brilliant.
