What a tough season it was for the manager, lack of goals again being a major problem. Survival was never an issue, but in hopes of building upon the core of the side, the board slashed the wage cap to 1.8k! All this 12 months after they got out a loan for a new stadium! Well now I can see unless something miraculous happens in the off season free-transfer market ill be spending another season in the BSP.
Does anyone know at what point of debt you go bankrupt? Maybe if that happens and I keep my job the king of saudi arabia will buy the club

I went as red as E700K,but I didn't go bankrupt with Stalybridge at BSN. I have another question. How wealthy must one be for a boardroom to accept to upgrade the training and youth facilities. I am currently 1st in BSP in my second season, and if I am going to have a chance in L2 I will need those upgrades. Btw,I signed Shabani Nonda. I think he is a good choice for everyone in the BSP and he doesn't want a big contract. I think he could help with those having goal problems (if you don't have Counago,Adam or Koroma).

A very eventful season, the club went bankrupt, on the up side the 1.3 million loan got paid off by creditors I think? its no longer stated on the team info page (H)
My players were brave, god bless em, especially after the board decided to sell off the training facilities! A transfer embargo has ensured im not signing many in the off season, ive also been docked 10 points for 14/15 :'(

So pleased to go up, signed a bunch of youth players so I wouldn't have to pay my players who were out of contract any money. Some of them were stolen by other teams and others got mad so I just cut them.

Really pleased, we were doing ok with that hideous 5-2-3 I was running at the beginning of the year but I eventually just switched to a 4-3-3. Hicham Abdellah was a steal for $55 p/w. Of course, the board decided to build a new stadium so now we're terrible in debt, hopefully my wages don't get slashed!

hi hasuprotoss, I re-signed my contract whilst bankrupt for 20 pounds a week, which I should have signed for a longer term looking back, as it would save a heap of cash for the club!

Started yesterday with the Magpies (Dorchester) BSB South. Signed 3 PT players Holt (CM), Gilpin (GK), Younghusband (ST).
And some Amateur players and Youth players for back up.

First game of the season I won 5-0 home against woking, with a 4-1-2-2-1 formation I use normaly in the highers leagues.
But it works out fine giving me a lot of chances.

Will play a full season this week and mostly in the weekend and will update on this forum.

With the loss of Pablo and Stirling, I felt empty. I was bound for mid-table standing for much of the season, pulling out a good mix of wins and draws with a pinch of losses. Then April rolls around and I change tactics. I don't lose a single game for the rest of the season and skyrocket to the playoffs and FA Trophy final. Anderson, Amoo, and Dean were key players behind Campbell. Harry Bunn (hehe), was stellar until he got hurt and wasn't the same for the rest of the year.

I wasn't going to intentionally lose games to stay in BSP, but I'm going into league play with a very average team at best. To top it off, I'm not even considered professional yet.

Decent finish I guess, hoping for promotion next season when I have more than 7k to spend on wages p/w. How long does it take to get more than a local reputation too?

mostly by getting further in cup tournements fa.cup is the best way
i got a fa.cup 3rd game and was on tv and won and i got a massive rep boost!

Yeah that's what I thought, I thought promotions and being in L2 would still make it more than a local club! In my first season in BSN I got to the fa cup 3rd round on TV vs spurs (albeit lost 7-1) and then got a TV tie the next year aswell. Ah well, hopefully it improves if I get promoted in my next season.
