Kenwyne Jones is Goaters final signing.

Manchester City today signed experienced striker Kenwyne Jones for a reported 12.3 Million from Stoke City on a 2 year contract. Jones was unhappy at Stoke and wanted to take a new leaf in the English game.

Manchester City fans are excited about the strike force of Jones and Balotelli, we've had some messages from Man City fans. "Jones is a fabulous signing for this League, he'll destroy it" said one fan.

Another fan said "Delighted with Goaters wheeling and dealing skills here, pulled of a immense signing"

Manchester City kicked of there pre-season games with a draw against Championship outfit Crystal Palace.

Manchester City travelled to Selhurst park on a fine summers afternoon hoping to get there first win of a pre-season which is always a good thing.

First Half:
Crystal Palace shocked everyone by taking the lead which was a own goal by Nedum Onuoha on the 5th minute, there was nothing he could do about it. Manchester City had 3 shots on target in the next 3 minutes and a goal was looming.

City hit back 5 minutes later with John Guidetti scoring a wonderful curling shot into the top corner on the 10th minute.

Second Half:
Nothing really to talk about in this half has it wasn't going neither teams way, the only interesting thing was Mario Balotelli getting booked for two footing Peter Ramage, strangely the referee only award a yellow card.

Manchester City had 14 shots with 3 on target while Crystal Palace had 4 shots with 1 on target. Possession wise Manchester City was 55% and the other 45% was Crystal Palace.

Stats:
Attendance: 7,670
Referee: Scott Mathieson

Lommel United 1-2 Manchester City

Manchester City played there second game of pre-season away at Lommel United.

Manchester City travelled to Steddelijk Sportsstadion to look for there first win of pre-season.

First Half:
Nothing much to talk about in the first half, Manchester City was attacking constantly and truth be told it should of been 5-0 in the first half.

Second Half:
It was a action packed second half, Manchester City took the lead on the 49th minute when Eqout Toussaint scored a own goal having half of the ground in hysterics. Lommell United then made it 1-1 with Corentin Bervoets scoring a fantastic bicycle kick leaving Costel Pantilimon no chance.

Mario Balotelli missed a penalty on the 66th minute and nobody knows how. Miraculously he kicked the floor and then fell over the ball. Not to worry, Abdi Ibrahim sent Manchester City into a 2-1 lead with a brilliant goal swerving inside and outside of players.

Manchester City had 14 shots on target with 3 on target and Lommel United only managed 3 shots with 1 on target, that one being the goal. Manchester City had 60% possession through out the whole game.

Stats:
Attendance: 4,725
Referee: Frank De Bleeckere

Eupen 1-2 Manchester City

Manchester City attended there third game of pre-season with a trip to Belgian outfit Eupen.

Manchester City travelled to Kehrweg to look for there second win of pre-season. It's predicted Eupen don't stand a chance against City.

First Half:
Manchester City took the lead in Belgium with Adam Johnson coming in from the wing and hitting the ball into the bottom corner. Flavien Le Postollec was booked on 41 minutes for a nasty tackle on Mario Balotelli.

Yaya Toure recieved a yellow card for tormenting the Eupen fans on 44 minutes just before half time.

Second Half:
Yaya Toure made it 2-0 on the 50th minute with a volley inside the area which came from a Adam Johnson coner. Elpys Jose Espinal was booked on the 65 minute for a late tackle on Mario Balotelli.

Maxime Janssens was also booked on the 80th minute for pulling Mario Ballotelli's shirt and completely ripping it off. This team must dislike Balotelli. We are surprised he kept his head and didn't go mad. Is he a changed man?

Gooooal, Ioannis Masmadidis pulled one back for Eupen on the 83rd minute making it 2-1. Eupen then missed a sitter in the last minute which would of resulted in a draw if Rafail Asbuchanow didn't fall over the ball.

Manchester City had a huge 18 shots with 7 of them on target. Eupen only had 5 shot with 1 on target. The possession was both teams at 50%

Stats:
Attendance: 4,226

Pre-Season is over and the Npower League One starts in 3 days time.

Manchester City have finished there pre-season, they only played 3 games, two wins and draw which was a good effort considering the recent on goings at the club. Manchester City kick off there season against Stevenage.

We caught up with Goaters to find out how his players have been doing over the last few weeks. "The players are doing great and we are all eagerly ready for the season to begin, we will finish first in the league i have no doubt about that and we'll win the JPT on the way to doing so. The only problem we could have is some of the players wanting to leave in January which could be a big possibility if there not happy, i hope this isn't the case"

Noel Gallagher has also been talking to our reporter "I'm ready for the new season, i didn't attend any of the pre-season matches as we are still sorting the club out financially"

The whole of Manchester seems to be buzzing for the new season to begin despite being demoted, it just shows how loyal the fans actually are.

Good start, really nice idea to do something a bit different. Suprised so many players accepted new contracts despite being two divisions lower! Keep up the good work!

Misery For Manchester City As 8 Players Leave.

Shock as players with new contracts leave. Manchester City thought there season was about to start until 8 players requested to be transfer listed 3 days ago. These players have now been sold.

More players have been sold by Manchester City even though they accepted new contracts. It was all false hope for the City fans. There chance to the get back into the Champions League sooner rather than later have been slashed.

Abdi Ibrahim has had his contract terminated, Abdi wasn't happy being a part of the squad in the Npower League One.

Mario Balotelli has joined Liverpool Football club for a fee of £5 Million on a 2 year contract. Fans are gutted that that Italian has decided to jump ship to Liverpool.

James Milner has also joined Liverpool for a estimated £7.5 Million, Milner accepted a new contract with City only a few days ago but finds playing in League One could ruin his international career.

Micah Richards, the fans favorite has joined Stoke for £7 Million pounds on a 4 year contract. Micah told us, "It was a hard decision to leave the club, I've been a part of Manchester City for years"

Adam Johnson has also joined Liverpool for £3 Million which will see him at Anfield for 3 years. City fans was hoping they'd keep the winger here but it was always going to be a struggle.

Wayne Bridge has departed Manchester City by joining Aston Villa for a fee of £2.4 Million which will see him at the club for 2 year.

Owen Hargreaves and Yaya Toure have had there contracts mutually terminated after being so unhappy at the club they missed training for 4 week.

Manchester City are now 8 players down and Goaters has got a job on his hands to bring in some players to replace the following that have left the City Of Manchester Stadium.

Manchster City today used there last 24 Million which they got from transfers yesterday. Yesterday saw another twist in Manchester City's fate with 8 players leaving. Goater has only signed 3 players so Manchester City could be looking at free transfers.. Who would of thought you would of heard that Manchester City was going for free transfers?

Jermaine Beckford has joined Manchester City for a fee of 7.5 Million from Leicester. Beckford has experience in League One while playing for Leeds, he then moved to Everton where he didn't really fit in the Premier League.

Fabrice Mumamba has also joined City for a estimated 7.5 Million which will see him at the club for 2 years, Fabrice joined from Premier League outfit Bolton Wanderers.

Mark Noble has become a blue, he's joined Manchester City for a reported 7.5 Million which will see him at The City Of Manchester Stadium for 3 years. Marks eager to begin a new challenge with Manchester City.

Manchester City have now spent there whole budget but in desperate need for players for backup. We are expecting Goaters will browse the free transfer list.

Can we see the hole squad just to get an overview, bye young cheep players who will mature as you go up the leagues, trust in guidetta and nimely and good look.

I will be doing a final update on the overall squad next!
