It was an all over the place month as we only won 2 matches out of 8 with my focus being advancement in the Cup competitions where we made the Finals for both the Champions League and FA Cup as we knock Tottenham out of the FA Cup Semi Final on penalties. We struggled with a lot of draws in the league as i heavily rotated a lot of the squad to keep them fresh for the cup games as we had our 9 point lead in the league at the start of the month.

So we beat Cardiff in our second to last game in the league with a second string side with Firmino scoring a brace as we secure our Premier League crown with a game to spare, we went on to lose that game to Southampton but it didnt matter so i put out one of the weakest sides this season so we would all be rested up for the big Cup Finals.

So we win the league by 5 points in the end with Blackpool, West Brom and Sunderland getting relegated whilst Man City had another poor season missing out on Europe yet again. (Spolier Alert - Their problems will surely be over now though as they have brought Mario Balotelli back to the club).

We had so many more chances than they did but they took an early lead through Jordan Henderson but it all started to go our way later in the match, First Kompany scored and own goal and then Kondogbia got sent off as we pressured them for the winner with Man of the moment Henriquez going on a dazzling run to score and seal the win.

Champions League Final V Barcelona

So it was Spanish Striker Diego Costa who opened the scoring for us but Barcelona soon hit back with a brace around the half hour mark.
The tie was all but over and Barca had one hand on the cup before former player Cesc Fabregas equalized with seconds left in the game to take the Final to extra time.
In the end it was our superior penalty taking as we slotted in all 5 penalties whilst Jordi Alba missed one of Barca's penalties and we complete the clean sweep.

Right so thats another season over and we finally won the big Champions League Cup, hopefully the first of many as i look to make my young team one of the most dominant forces in World Football with the likes of Henriquez, Balanta, Januzaj and Ginter key to our future success still only in their early 20's.
Only one more year and the transfer budget will start to get crazy as we finally pay off the loan.

So despite a poor couple of months including his 10 hour goal drought Diego Costa was still our top goalscorer and will be hoping for an even better season next year after scoring a lot more goals in his previous 2 season.

Our record signing is seen as one of the best players in the World at the moment and i have seen why this season with 15 goals and 31 assists in all competitions and an impressive 7.42 average rating over 50 odd games.

Thanks mate, i sold him on last years game on my Man Utd story and it was such a big mistake and he turned into such a beast and i bought him back for loads more, so i knew this time round that if i gave him game time he would deliver, thanks for reading

So this was after i had done most of my buisness and the initial budget was closer to ?80 Million so you already know i have been busy.

Players Out

So there was 3 big deals out for a combined ?57 Million, the first was Alberto Moreno who i made over ?7Million on with his transfer to Real Madrid as i brought in someone who is a lot better and Moreno never really did it for us with Patrice Evra keeping him out of the starting lineup despite getting on a bit.
Next up i let Dede leave aswell as he was just too far down the pecking order and not making enough appearances and again i made a bit of profit on his transfer.
The final big player to leave was Roberto Formino who will not be getting anywhere near the team this season and was sold for almost ?10Million only a year after i signed him on a free.

Right so i brought in 7 players and spent close to ?100Million on players coming into the side despite first saying i didnt need to many players.

So first off i signed 3 players for the future a couple of oungsters from AZ and a guy who impressed me when we played against his team Stoke last season.

A decent win to start the new season against last years runners up Chelsea, Diego Costa got an early goal for us before new record signing and former Chelsea player De Bruyne sealed the victory with a goal just after half time.

So along with the two cup wins and the already mentioned win against Tottenham at their new stadium we also smashed West Ham 7-0 and Liverpool 6-1 as our team starts the new season on fire and the rotation policy i have in effect has allowed everyone their fair chance so far this season.

So we started the month with a nervy game as Newcastle took an early lead before we grabbed an equalizer early on in the second half before scoring 2 more late goals to grab the 3 points.
We beat Olympiakos 1-0 in the group stages before struggling to draw against Chelsea with De Bruyne grabbing another goal against his former club.
We then saw the reserves struggle against Wolves in the cup before i sent on the big guns to finish the tie off before we went and lost to Swansea to add to an already terrible month.
We did end the month on a better note by thrashing Shakhtar in the Champions League with the Spanish duo Fabregas and Mata on fine form and Henriquez grabbing another goal.

Well it was back to business as usual this past couple of months as we win 12 matches in a row over 3 competitions only conceding 4 goals whilst scoring 32 goals with Henriquez and De Bruyne especially on fire before his injury.

So we start the month with a bore draw but after that its more of the same with 7 straight wins in all competitions including the 4 league wins around the Christmas period were i played a lot of the youth players with American Striker Kyle King on fine form along with Nick Powell coming to the fore in recent games too with Powell grabbing 5 goals in 5 games.

January 2017 - Winter Transfer Window

Not many players go out with young RB Vermilj leaving for a few million as he will never make the squad whilst a fair few players leave on loan along with Tielemans who will hopefully be happier on loan at Leverkusen.

Players In

Well i brought two players in, First was Jack Butland as his contract was up at the end of the season i got him for less than ?1Million and he will be exceptional cover for De Gea and will be rotated enough into the side to keep him happy.
The other was on a bosman transfer and i couldnt quite believe my luck when i signed this winger from Argentina who was immediately valued at ?24Million!

6 wins out of 8 this month as we progress in 3 domestic competitions, We thrashed Norwich and Tottenham 5-0 whilst Kyle King scored all 4 goals in the FA Cup tie against QPR.
We threw the reserves out again against Norwich in the Capital One Cup but they could only manage a draw with transfer listed reject Tom Cleverly getting the only goal of the game for us.
We then comfortably beat Chelsea in the league before losing to Newcastle for a bad end to a decent month.

Capital One Cup Final V Man City

Reyes gave City an early lead thanks to handball in the penalty area with only 20 minutes gone. After ripping into the side at half time we came out on fire and Mata quickly fired in the equalizer but it looked like it was all going downhill again as Powell got sent off with less than an hour gone.
In the end it was super sub Henriquez we had to thank for the winner as he stepped off the bench to tap home the deciding goal.

So we start the month with an emphatic thrashing of Swansea before our second string went on and beat West Ham with Nick Powell grabbing a brace again.
Recent free transfer Gomez keeps up his fine goalscoring start to his Man Utd career with another brace against Crystal Palace in the FA Cup.
Next up was the Champions League knockout match against Benfica who as people who have followed my other stories know are my bogey team beat us in Portugal but we got the 2 away goals and i think we can take them Old Trafford.
It was then a couple more league wins against Southampton and Stoke with De Bruyne in fine form grabbing a hattrick as he comes back to full form and fitness.

6 points clear with a game in hand and as you can see the recent league win over Stoke was bigger than you would think with them currently in the top 4 with the title race really just down to us and Arsenal at this point.

Why are you not using Zaha he's a beast for me since the 2nd season and now fighting fair and square with James Rodriguez at AMR
