I'm very surprised the FA aren't taking any further action over the Cole challenge. What I'm not surprised by though is the once again inconsistency with their decision. If it happens again next week they'll probably ban another player for 3-4 games or something.

Ref booked him so I FA wont be looking at it as per their rules.

Yeah can understand Chelsea players feeling that way, but would have liked AVB to just say "Cole didn't mean to injure or there was no malice intended" something like that.

AVB is a very smart man and would have said what he said for the benefit of his side.

They wont to anything because the ref booked Cole which insinuates he saw the offence.
 
Thats the thing though. The ref booked him fair enough, and I suppose it was a genuine challenge, but it was just an awful one at the same time. Makes me squirm every time I see it. Not an anti-Chelsea thing or anything, just seems really bad challenges are let off too easily just because they get booked from the ref.

The same happend last season with Rooneys elbow against Wigan.

about cole challenge, he did what he had to do, if he dont make the challenge, then bang Hernandez scores. and the one he block Berba poor shot. hehe. great stuff form cole. some reasons why he's some of the world be LB :p (except nani was too good for him, what a goal too. )
