Well, he decided to not take the chance of appeal. If he believed Evra was a liar, he should have.

Regardless, United answered the questions once again with the 2-1.

I must say the tribalism is extremely strange to read even weeks and weeks after the hearing. Some of you need to deal in facts, such as he has been found guilty, has decided not to appeal, and has served his ban. Do you think he will refuse to shake his hand every match and keep claiming he was innocent when nobody bothered to appeal? At a certain point they need to put things behind them, and as a fan of neither Liverpool nor United I'm quite sure I know which side came away looking like it is a proud institution and which is looking like it's losing the plot.

A lot of this is about if you wear the shirt on the pitch then you represent the club, and you act in a way which wouldn't disappoint your club. The fact that Fergie immediately criticized the celebration by Evra at the end shows that you can support your club by not blindly supporting the players, because to be fair it was over the top and childish.

Or not. If he believes Evra is a liar, he has every right to refuse handshake.

If he believe Evra is a liar, he would of appealed the ban. But he didn't. You can argue that he didn't want a longer ban but if he believed he is innocent, he would of appealed it. Simple really.
He should of shook Evra's hand. Prove to the world that he's over the whole scenario and got on with football. But he had to make a big deal about it.

stop being naive, he didnt appeal because he missed games that we could cope without... he is back for spurs, united, everton, arsenal.... he would appealed it and failed he would missed nearly all of them ... it was tactical, you could quite clearly tell by everything thats happened that liverpool and suarez believe it is infact evra lying

United were clearly the better side and largely dominated. Suarez clearly doesn't think and privately Dalglish will be fuming. Evra should have been smarter
